I just think we don't need to replace the right hand side, Phil needs a direct route to starting games now, certainly if Bernie and him can rotate.

If Bernie leaves, we absolutely need a right sided back up of serious quality.
If Mahrez goes, we sign either a RW or we need to sign a midfielder. That is irrespective of Bernardo going. Otherwise the numbers just aren’t there. Phil and Bernardo will not be stuck to a right wing rotation, that is the issue. For starters, Phil won’t even start the season there. We can’t keep making the squad thinner and thinner like this. I don’t know whether that is information or guessing on your part, but I can’t see it at all. Maybe it is Cherki after all

I thank him, but I won't miss Mahrez one bit.

He was very disappointing in the run-in, dialling it in and not even bothering to help when the kids were starting.

We have had our money's worth and I have always felt he plays the game for himself, rather than the team.

To get a decent fee for him at his age is miraculous.
Don’t forget most of the players leaving (walker, Laporte, Cancello, mahrez) are going because they aren’t starters
If you can replace them with players like kovacic, pavard, gvardiol etc then the squad is gonna be very similar
Gundo and Bernardo are a bit different and a big signing (de jong, kimmich, valverde) would refresh the squad nicely
Can see a few surprises coming

Foden and Bernardo are the only options we need for the right side.
If that's the case we must be making a big signing elsewhere in the midfield?

I just can't believe that for the 4 positions behind the striker, you'd be happy for us to go into next season with 5 senior players?

Foden, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Kovacic, Grealish. You could argue Alvarez can play there, but he's our backup striker - we can't rely on him in other positions in case he's needed up front.

I hesitate to even include Kovacic because he does his best work deeper in midfield.

In Gundo and Mahrez (if he is going) we've lost 26 goals and 20 assists from last season.

So far we've brought in Kovacic, who got a grand total of 2 goals and 2 assists. That's a massive loss.

I’m with you on this and it gets worse if Bernie goes lol. As Treble winners we should be tapping up the worlds best and landing some of them e.g. Alphonso Davies, FDJ, Kimich.

I'd rather keep Walker and lose him for free next year. I'm not sure when he get's over 34 he'll be as robust. Not sure he can be a modern day Cafu who seemed to never break/lose energy or pace!

If kyle walker wants to go there is no problem, but there is a zero percent chance I am selling him for €15m + add ons. Minimum of €25m for me. Would rather keep him if it is that low.

It is possible Bayern/and or City gave him a deadline to decide, and that's before our Asian Tour, so it makes sense for both parties to sort it out one way or another.

I suspect that he will go now. It's not just his age, but a 33 year old shouldn't be going out on the keg and getting his whopper out in bars. He should know better.

He's been brilliant for us, but other than the off the field stuff, he's not going to keep his pace forever and I don't see him as a particularly flexible player. If we're going to carry on playing with the central defenders next season we're not likely to be playing him apart from the odd game against Vinicius/Mbappe.

We also chased Bellingham and Rice for big money so obviously want a top class midfielder added to the squad still
