We had a lot of players on enormous wages that have been sold, released or loaned.
Their recent turnover is apparently over 520 mil euros with about 180 mil from broadcasting.

Why would the club have a plan just because some people have been talking on Bluemoon about signing Messi. We have been talking for years on here about signing Messi if he were available.
Like PSG, we would have a plan which gets round FFP, to do it.
Like a company's balance sheet and profit & loss accounts. The club has income (from tv deals, sponsorships, etc) and expenditure (wages, amortised fees, debt payments, etc). In any year the club can only incur losses of up to about £30m.
So if Arsenal or man Utd failed FFP you wouldn't smile? You are mistaking discussions about its implications with arguments for and against it. We spent a year discussing whether City would get sanctioned.
I know,it is starting to get a bit tidious.I'm fine with 500 mil. more but it's unbelievable Jeff how much lot of City fans are talking about PSG and FFP. From all fans, we, who suffered from FFP and which robbed us for at least 2 titles so far. I never thought I'd see this shit here.
To be fair the Neymar thing is not something I'd like to see City doing, we are nowhere near that bad(we've brought a lot of players in but we had to... we need a defence after letting so many go and the type we need are not cheap) but we will still be mentioned in the same breath as them... it will be used as a stick to beat City with by so called association.I'm fine with 500 mil. more but it's unbelievable Jeff how much lot of City fans are talking about PSG and FFP. If that's the case then I hope we're doing something behind the scenes to sign somebody of real quality up front because as it stands we're leaving ourselves short and reliant on a couple of players remaining fit/free from suspension for the season.
I don't see the Sanchez deal happening so hopefully there's another option that's been kept under wraps.

Didn't know about that. Point taken. It seemed to be confirmed recently by a tv documentary in Spain claiming Messi was ready to move here & Barca blocked it.

fucking hell, there's more talk about ffp (hoping someone fails it) here then on ragcafe, rawk or arsenalmania. Sad and pathetic.
That's totally misguided(we brought in so many players for that spend, among them young hopefuls that will be here for years to come and yet to reach their primes) and I disagree with your sentiments really, that's more like the rags of old(there's a before and after they fell from grace and got behind FFP) if anything.I don't care how are we going to bring the players, tbh. I don't give a flying one. Neymar is obviously mega huge and City wasn't up to it but if City though it's good to do that kind of a deal, I'd be happy as fuck to have him here. Ruining football is great stuff. More it's ruined, more it gets spectacular and more TV's are paying for it. Ruined my ass. Saying that, we spent about the same money as they did this summer and much, much more in last two summers so technically we are more nasty than them.
