Lavezzi

Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is available for £26 million this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester City both interested in signing the Argentinian striker according to The Mirror.

Lavezzi has impressed in both Serie A and the Champions League this season, and has made a name for himself as one third of one of the most potent attacking forces in Europe alongside team-mates Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik.

The 26-year-old bagged a brace in Napoli’s 3-1 Champions League victory over Chelsea in the last 16 stage earlier this season, but could do little as the Blues rallied in the second leg at Stamford Bridge to claim a spot in the quarter finals of the competition.

Both Chelsea and Manchester City have been heavily linked with making a move for the talented playmaker along with a host of leading European clubs.

City in particular appear keen on taking him to the Etihad Stadium, with manager Roberto Mancini admitting he is a fan of the former Boca Juniors star’s ability.

Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala have also been linked with making a move for the Napoli player, and the Italian club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed £26 million will be enough to secure Lavezzi’s services.

“The future of Lavezzi is clear - he has a buyout clause of €32million,” he told La Stampa.

"If he wants to go to Russia in the wilderness to earn more, he can do it. I do not work for money but for something else."

Napoli look likely to miss out on a Champions League qualification spot via the league, prompting fears of a mass exodus from the Naples club, led by the likes of Cavani and Lavezzi.

I say we snap him up.

at that price it should be done. hazard too at 35 and maybe javi martinez at 15-20

Hello, Im from Argentina and I can tell you all that Lavezzi's former club is San Lorenzo (one of biggest clubs of my country).
He was the best player of the team that achieved the "Clausura" Championship in 2007. After that he was transfered to Napoli.
San Lorenzo is also the club where ZabMan was formed (club of which he is fan) ... There he achieved a local tournament in 2001 and two sudamericans cups ... After that he was transfered to Espanyol and then to Blues.
Obviously Im fan of San Lorenzo and fan of Manchester City !
I post 2 pics of my idols

Would love Lavezzi at City and I think he will gel right in if he came. ZabMan is becoming a legend at City, such a work horse and plays for the club!!

Welcome!

Zaba is a legend and my favourite player.

If Blues signs Lavezzi Manchester City would get another player of this photo ... Lavezzi, Zab, Aguero and Messi are known in Argentina as close friends, perhaps in the future they all join in the same team ... Blues perhaps ...

I leave you a link of the photo ...

Tease.

JOVILU,

Could you tell us about what is known about any potential friendship between Tevez and Kun? Do they have a history together as "close friends"?

Sometimes I think Kun has respect for Tevez as a team-mate and countryman, but not really a close friendship, as he apparently have together with Zabaleta.

In Argentina everybody knows that Tevez doesnt have a close relation with Aguero, and that Messi do not support Tevez. They all respect Tevez as a good player but they fit with his personality. Zab is more close with Carlos but Zab is a gentleman in the field and out of it, and he is friend of everybody ! Thats why everybody loves Pablito.
In Argentina you may see more fans of Tevez than Messi o Aguero, but it is because Tevez was formed en "Boca Juniors" (the most popular club in Argentina) and because of his humble origins. Thats why people call him "Carlitos del Pueblo" ... Messi was formed in Spain (In Argentina childs love him but is discuss by adults) and Aguero is loved by fans of "Independiente" and admire by people who loves football.
Conclusion ... Tevez is not part of Aguero`s friends group, they are mates and have good relation but they are not friends ... Aguero, Messi, Zab, Mascherano are friends ...
