Leeds (H) | Post Match Thread

Awful result against an anti football shower of shit , shirt pulling, fouling bastards.

However, against 10 men that was event worse. Peps reluctance too name a substitute until the 60th minute, or take off Sterling who had been shit for 2 years now.

Ferna does not work as a CB, why didn't Pep play him in midfield?

And why did at half time Pep not implore midfielders to take the ball into the box? Every time we ran at their players, they fouled us, in the box that's could have been 2-3 penalties.

There's a few players who I would not miss if sold on at the end of the season. Sterling can go, we've had 1 golden season despite Pep loving him to bits, Jesus will never be a striker, just can't see it and Ben Mendy needs to be moved on, a statue can beat him to the line nowadays.

Just a shit performance today really against a shitty team

Sorry Fernandihno didn't do well. Lost Dallas on

How can Leeds have 1 shot on target when they scored 2 goals?

Yeah fair point on first goal. Thought he did a good job otherwise. That chance he created for Sterling first half should have been buried.

Pep's comments

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to BBC Sport: "We played a real good game. The goal we gave them, in behind, we were solid and make mistakes for a counter attack. We did not control it. We did not create enough for the forwards. It is part of the game.

"In the last 10 minutes they had other chances, they fast and can do it. When they defend in the way they were you have to stop them running and we did not do that. The best moment we had in the game we make a mistake behind and we tried but could not score.

"We are going to rest and prepare two days for the game in Dortmund and decide on how we are going to play."

It must be frustrating for him as well. For me playing a rusty Ake and Mendy in the same team was his first mistake but I guess Laporte being unfit forced that one. We didn't creat enough because for almost the whole game our four most creative players were sat on the bench, Mahrez, KDB, Gundo and Foden. Like us all he couldn't predict Sterling, Jesus and Cancello would be so poor. Torres is a kid finding his feet and needs time, at least he scored. All the changes obviously disrupted our rhythm and effectiveness. On another day we might have got away with it, today we didn't. The rags and hopefully Leicester dropping points tomorrow eases today's pain considerably.

I'm just watching Jota playing for the dippers, at the price they paid he's going to be a steal.
Deep down he has to be angry about that performance, he has to be

Absolute crap, started from the front 3 being absolutely woeful for first half, Sterling looked like a Championship player today, Jesus is Jesus and Torres is nowhere near the finished product.

Too many changes and let's hope it is justified on Wednesday.

Grealish, Maddison & Mahrez were Championship players.
