I can't agree on this. I hear this a lot but I just don't think it's true. He was brilliant last season. He did have a spell of like 10 games where he had a poor, dry spell. But he still managed 31 goals and 10 assists. He wasn’t great last season mate either and I have always gave him the benefit of the doubt but now I can’t . Not bothered that we got beat as Leeds are one of the top teams in the league but I’m more alarmed that we lacked bite
If they put a picture of a goalkeeper on the signature line at least he’ll have something to aim at.At this rate I’d be amazed if he actually signs in the right place
Our 4 losses in the league: (city stat first)

A shocking statistic...
Regardless of how talented our squad is there is a tipping point where the selection risks the result. Not enough of the big hitters to make a difference.
The performance of that front three today was as poor as I can recall for a long time.
Sterling can have zero complaints about being back on the bench Wednesday - lack of quality, poor decision making and selfish. Not attractive traits for one of our biggest players.
He’s the Rory McIlroy of golf at the moment.
the pitch is poor but not the time to blame it today, we simply are not good enough up top, without the first choice 11Yep will be interesting how we play against Dortmund away as our performance was not good enough imo on the rubbish grass at Etihad.
Also today there were bunch of player slipping, falling on their own.
Can we not move our home games to the youth stadium? Real did that.
I dont look forward playing a CL semis on this pitch later on if we have one more..
Decision making for the final ball is shocking to say the leastWhat the fuck has happened to sterling yes we know he sometimes misses chances or fucks up situations but he’s absolutely dropped off in terms of performance completely,as for the team it’s self it sort of looks like we are starting to stumble towards the finishing line hope we make it ..
yep, full of happy clappy JCL's.Careful Bill we have a sensitive one here, remember mate you only say positive stuff about city on here nothing negative. Its the reason I stopped coming on here
Scored 31 goals last season. He wasn’t great last season mate either and I have always gave him the benefit of the doubt but now I can’t . Not bothered that we got beat as Leeds are one of the top teams in the league but I’m more alarmed that we lacked bite
Yeah, just like losing the derby did.
Disaster how? He was alright for his first game in ages.Really ? The guy was a disaster..
FFS. It seems yours already has.Rags win their two games in hand our bottle will go
Difficult to argue with stupid but I’ll try. You are aware we have played twice a week all season? I’m going to answer ‘yes’ for you. You are aware we have a CL Quarter Final on Wednesday and an FA Cup Semi Final at the weekend? Again, yes. We also have a large lead in the league and it does not matter whether we win the league by 18 points or by 8. With all that in mind it was 100% right to rest as many as we could today. No different to the several other times this season we’ve had that same approach. And in fact we normally make 5 or 6 changes anyway. Today was 7.
The only way to rest 3 of Foden, KDB, Gundogan and Bernardo was to play Zinchenko in midfield. That meant Mendy left back as one of Cancelo and Walker was always going to be rested. Dias rested was a no brainer, and Laporte is injured, so Ake and Stones the obvious picks. Fernandinho no brainer. Zinchenko as I’ve already said. Bernardo was the freshest of the main midfielders, so he played. Aguero injured so obviously Jesus started. Sterling and Torres were the two benched wingers v Dortmund so obviously they come in.
The team was bang on. The result doesn’t change that. Losses can happen in football. We deserved to win but Leeds were far more clinical on the day, 2 shots 2 goals, fair play to them. But Pep called the team perfectly considering what is coming up this week.
