Leonardo Bonucci

Quality it's certainly what we need with Stones if Kompany can't return to a consistent fitness.

He is ready to quit Juventus for City tomorrow, simply down to cash and Juventus' reluctance to sell.

It's a win-win for Bonucci. He gets to play for Pep and treble his wages at the age of 30.

Or he gets a decent rise and continues to win trophies in his homeland with one eye closed.

If we got him it would set us up for a great season in my opinion. The master and apprentice at the back. Can't wait for Sunderland now.

Now that euro qualification squad has been announced maybe there isn't as much of a rush to get Bonucci in. We can wait, a little.

Obviously the longer we wait the more league matches, perhaps, go by.

Would be a fantastic signing.

How can he have a relapse when he hasn't had a recovery? Imagine, Vinny feels a twinge in his calf 5 minutes before the transfer deadline, do we ring Juve up and offer them 50m?

Players have relapses all the time before they make it back to full fitness.

Give Juventus the 50 million we need him! I'd rather have him than any player on the market

so no central midfielder? The thing we actually need?

Can't see a Pep team functioning at all well with only 1 ball player in the centre of the park.

Bonucci, Stones, Gundogan, Fernandinho and Silva could be in a team and you think we'd lack ball players?

If pep wanted a midfielder in I'm sure he'd get one. you never know, maybe he really rates Garcia.

So if Kompany's recovery is delayed by an extra week we're going to spend £50m on another centre half? I'm not having a go at you by the way just the paper.

Paying 50m would be a gamble just because he will be new to the premier league and referees referee totally different to the Italian league where you get away bit more.
