Lescott take a bow

Because Demichelis is better with the ball on the ground. Lescott is to clumsy with the ball. Pelegrini doesn't care if Lescott played well or not, Lescott is too clumsy with the ball and that's why he doesn't rate him. Demichelis can make 1000 mistakes but he is better passer and feels more comfortable then he has a ball and for this reason he rates him higher.
surly he should be a midfielder then... correct me if im wrong but the point of defending is getting the ball away from our net... im not bothered he if smashed it out for a corner or throw in... just get it away from the danger zone, some MD cant do

Demichelis makes more clearances than any other player at the club. He also makes more tackles per game and more interceptions per game than Lescott. So that's not really a stick to beat him with. His problem is that he defends well for the majority of the game, then makes a costly mistake. Lescott, on the other, defends (and passes the ball) less well, but makes fewer costly, tangible mistakes.

Based on that first half, I should expect not to see Martin D as partner for Vinny again, this season.

Excellent, so far.

Lol.

Awful in the first half, perhaps worse in the second. Culminating in being unable to control his own legs and gifting Messi a chance.

Demicheles walks into the side without even having to tie his hair up.

We need another CB for kompany we really do, he is better than demichelis but neither are them are worthy of being alongside kompany

We've needed one since the end of last season. How on earth no one at the club couldn't see this is worrying.

I don't think so.
Can't be too hard on Lescott. It's not like he plays week in week out. Wouldn't be this bad if he was regular.
