Demichelis makes more clearances than any other player at the club. He also makes more tackles per game and more interceptions per game than Lescott. So that's not really a stick to beat him with. His problem is that he defends well for the majority of the game, then makes a costly mistake. Lescott, on the other, defends (and passes the ball) less well, but makes fewer costly, tangible mistakes.
