Lescott

I really hoped he was coming good. He's just had a nightmare at city. So slow makes far too many mistakes. He moans about not starting but he's just a million miles behind kolo and Vince. P

Honestly much prefer nedum, boyata and Richards to him back there. Not his fault he's no where near as good as the players we already had . We should Never have signed him.

The immense shitness of Hughes in the transfer market continues to cast a long shadow over our club.

I'm inclined to agree with that last line, however:

[*]Carlos Tevez
[*]Vincent Kompany
[*]Pablo Zabaleta
[*]Nigel De Jong
[*]Kolo Toure

There's five examples of him not being quite as shit at signing players as many make out.

I will give you all of them apart from tevez. Nothing at all to do with Hughes like saying robinho was a Hughes signing. Tevez was signed by the owners direct via his agent.

He signed more bad players that good ones and the bad ones were really really bad and for totally stupid fees and wages so bad we will end up writing off 100 million in the end on them maybe more.

He is not good enough. hes not very good with the ball, he is slow as fuck. very average to say at least.
He's not slow at all. Maybe against that diver Dyer, but then he'd out run anybody

He did well in the air tonight winning a lot of crosses but that's ignored.

Well what fucking use is that if he costs us two goals? For God's sake man!

That bit of business summed up why Mark Hughes was a clueless twat. David Moyes has always been an astute manager. he made a right mug out of us there. In the end, it cost Hughes his job because we were a defensive shambles as soon as Lescott made the side. Every knowledgeable football fan in the book knew that Jagielka was the one that made Lescott look half decent, yet we signed the fit, but utterly shit half of the partnership.

He is a complete and utter liability. That's not opinion. It's fact!

True and furthermore,he went out and signed a replacement,an ex player of ours, for a pittance, who is a much better footballer and would have been the better option for us.

Lescott needs more regular game time but in all honesty why dont we play Boateng in the CB role and see if he is as good as was claimed its his preferred position.
Look at buying Sergio Ramos if Boateng works out. just a thought!

When Lescott has played regularly for us he settled in and looked alright but pulled up with an injury.
Since then with inconsistency he's looked shite.

Time for Boateng to step up and play CB alongside vinnie.

Luiz, Subotic - great players but I feel we've been spoilt rotten, we have decent players, time for bobby to make it work.
