Pep is a brave man.....risking the wrath of the grammar police by saying "less fixtures" instead of "fewer fixtures".........
Well no, but then based on those comments. I don't think Pep thinks the same way you do.
Pep has also said 'We need less fixtures, less competitions'
So I imagine if we were in the same situation next year, Pep would also be unhappy at the scheduling. I don't know what the answer is, The League Cup has been around for many years, to just toss it aside would feel wrong to me. But it's safe to say, many other teams in Liverpool's position now would also be airing their con

I'm pretty sure that Pep and I have the same feelings towards City and our fixture pile-ups past , current and future .
What Jurgen cares about is of no interest to me or plenty of other I suspect.
If you share Klopps concerns, go light a candle with the scummy feral fanbase , it might make you feel better.
Yeh what a w@nkerPep is a brave man.....risking the wrath of the grammar police by saying "less fixtures" instead of "fewer fixtures".........
He’s agreeing and saying, “you’re not the only ones so shut it”.Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is also speaking to the media now and was asked about Jurgen Klopp's earlier comments that there are too many games for top-flight players.
"I agree," he said. "If we have bigger squads, how do we pay them? We need less fixtures, less competitions, more recovery.
"But I have been in meetings and it's always the same. We just talk about it.
"I'm completely with Jurgen when he makes these statements, It's too much. I had to prioritise Ilkay Gundogan for the last game - no Kevin [de Bruyne], no Silva. Other clubs do the same."

Pep agrees with Jurgen..... might be some people on here not too happy with that stance!
Hmmm.
Littlewoods call City Abu Dhabi FC. They accuse City of numerous things, cheating, doping, inflating the transfer market, inflating player wages, buying success, cheating FFP, inflating sponsorship deals, human rights abuses, the list goes on and on.
Yet if you were ever to go on to RAWK, or speak to a Littlewoods fan, the City coach attack was a minor incident, there is no mention of the hacking scandal, there is no mention of Littlewoods failing FFP if they would have been in Europe, there is no mention of Liverpool having the highest player wages, there is no mention of Liverpool spending the most transfer money over the last two seasons, there is no mention of Standard Chartered, Lttlewoods shirt sponsor, and their dubious practices, there is no mention of the Qatar, who are hosting the World Club Championship, at their dreadful human rights record, the list goes on.
But apart from that ...Hmmm.
