Van Dijk’s role in Leicester’s goal was ‘Maguire- esque’. He was too slow to get close enough and then ‘shrunk’ timidly when blocking. It won’t get mentioned as the narrative of ‘the best defender in the world’ must continue to pacify the plastic scouse herd.

Only 6 points behind and half a season to go and they are already throwing in the towel. It's not just with Liverpool fans though. Last week after the Liverpool-Tottenham game, the TrueGeordie podcast were discussing which teams in the past have won 4 titles in 5 years. Not getting carried away, but this City side under Pep have managed to convince everyone that there is no point in chasing them.

That's the greatness of it and what Pep has created. It takes a monumental effort to keep up, it's even harder to get past us at the moment.

It isn't over by any stretch, but you can see the strain on Klopp with Liverpool trying to keep pace.

Funny to read the comments on RAWK,apparently it’s City’s wealth that’s to blame for them losing to Leicester and eventually the title,they sort of see themselves as the saviours of English football fighting the City evil oil empire,they console themselves with it when they lose,one joker on there said I hope City win the next 10 titles to show everyone what a farce it’s become,all I can say is where were Liverpool before City got the investment,they hadn’t won a title for 30 years,honestly never heard so much bitterness in my life.

I'm not brave.
But I ran up the tube lines in the 80s to stop us getting attacked.
I got kicked, shouted at, wide throwing fists, bottles, spit, abuse.
But I was protecting something, i don't know what i was protecting, littler people, I don't know who.
We didn't give a fuck if we won or lost.
We would not be beaten
and we ran, shouted, kicked, hit, and stunk, and hugged
all through London's innards

Yeah we're never gonna win anything ever again with FSG running the club. They just don't spend any money on top players it's as simple as that. It's time Liverpool fans realised this and stopped being deluded muppets like most of them are then maybe we can start to correct the problem. We've got f -/ ing 35 year old James Milner still at the club because tight @ss owners FSG would rather keep him than spend a transfer fee on a replacement ffs. FSG don't have the capacity to get this club competing financially with the biggest clubs in the world. LFC is too big for them not the other way around. The only solutions is to force FSG to sell the club to a good owner from the Mid East who spends a shed load of money on good players. Or join something like the ESL which would have stopped clubs from spending oil & gas money and forced them to spend only what the club earns itself. If you reject both then don't moan when you don't sign the best players and don't win any titles.

I think I know why our owners don’t correct the lies in the media. They’ve actually become a reason why no one can beat us despite it not being true. We spend billions, propped up by sovereign wealth fund, biggest squad blah blah.

Maybe if they knew how we roll they wouldn’t be quick to throw the towel in.
