It may have been slightly different margins if Everton had not been so brilliant and denied the opportunity to play in the European Cup. However, it just proves that Kendall and Everton's brilliance somewhat masked what the despot gambling syndicate had done to the league. They had all but killed the competitiveness of the game.


Since the 72/73 season, Liverpool won the league 11 times in 18 seasons finishing runners up on 6 occasions. Winning 8 domestic cups, 4 European Cups, and 2 UEFA cups during that time. That's 24 meaningful trophies in 18 seasons.

It was due to that dominance, that the majority of Liverpool fans 'support' them in the first place.

I've just read,not that I do too much,what is being said on rawk,and the hurt is showing now,the realism of how bad they are,so to put their defence case up,empty stadium chat,cheats chat,the influx of sponsorship money chat,basically any excuse they can come up with.

Weird thing is though,there is no mention of the 600m the super cheer leading manager has spent,and what dross they have bought with it,which is making them bad.

Neither is there any chat on by selling their best player in the summer has had an impact,or any chat on how the new lump they got up front to try and counter act our new striker we got in the summer,laughable.

Put it this way,and here is a wake up call for them,they will be lucky to finish top 6 at this rate,and looking at their next set of fixtures in October,they might get a point away at Forest and a point at home to West Ham and Leeds out of a possible 15...................leaving them further behind.
