Money does come into this. Liverpool’s net transfer fee spend in the last four years has been £80m, compared with City’s £200m.

Thats just wrong. Liverpool Net Spend is greater than ours in the last 5 years. They are 9th and we are 10th in PL.
We really should not these lies go unchallenged.

Why dont the media challenge Klippety's inane ramblings , i have seen figures where over the last five years our net spend is less than the Dippers and our wage bills virtually the same , but not one reporter asks the question.
Also our incomes / prize money are very similar , the difference is FSG group have snaffled the best part of £100m in dividends since Klippety arrived but Sheik Mansour hasnt taken a bean , if Klippety wants to play the sympathy card then maybe a few honest observations about their Yanky doodle owners amd the momey they steal from the club annually should come into the conversation.

Klopp seems to have done a fairly decent job with his recent interviews at distracting the locals away from a very average transfer performance over that past few windows..

We’ve seen this shite before from other managers. In saying this, Klopp’s basically acting as a mouthpiece for FSG. The hilarious thing about it is that I wouldn’t mind betting that privately he’s pissed off with them for not backing him enough in the transfer market over the past couple of seasons. But he can’t say that in public because he’s getting paid millions of pounds a year by them so has to attack someone else instead.

We used to see this with Wenger at Arsenal. Yet these days Wenger is actually quite complimentary about City. And Pochettino when he was at Spurs saying that he likes to do it a different way to spending big money on players, but once Levy sacked him he was more than happy to take the PSG job.

I have no idea why Klopp and the Cultists are always moaning about City’s spending when they could almost match our spending if they wanted to.

In the last six years City’s income has been £3.46b while Liverpool’s has been £3.08b.

If FSG weren’t so bothered about lining their own pockets with that money, they could have spent almost as much money as City have on their squad. But they have an American business model where their whole operation of ownership is to spend as little as they can get away with while still earning as much as they possibly can off the club.

Accordingly to some Liverpool fans I know the bus attack was nothing. One or two bottles thrown but no harm done.apparently pep used it to deflect that we had been well beaten.

It was just passion from Liverpool fans that’s all.

They really really don’t get it do they. And then wonder why they are hated and despised by every other fan in this country.

So thousands of Dippers having no regard for ticket allocations, official tickets V Fakes, kick off times, advice not to travel, pyrotechnics in confined spaces etc etc etc is just Passion

Because he said 4 years, not the 5 shown and he's rounded down for them and up for us. Convenient to use 4 which takes that huge 127m from 18/19 out of the equation.

wow that's shockingly bad. If he use, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years or 5 years we would have the lowest net spend but he's chosen a weird 4 year thing as that's the only year Liverpool's spend was lower. Redicolous
