Im no liverpool fan (im actually a city fan) but this wolves lack of camera isnt the first time weve seen it this season we saw it at the emirates when liverpool went there and their first goal saka (who got the assist) was off side but they didnt have an angle there neither the only difference was they let the goal stand at the emirates and they didnt at anfield.

I would like to see a camera on the linesman, because I haven't seen his flag go up in the clips I've seen.

Flags have a switch fitted so the linesman (person) can alert the referee (blind fucker) that they have seen something (nothing) happen without putting the flag up..

I really want them all mic'd up so we can all hear what they have seen

Short version: Nedum interviewed Klopp for ESPN right after the Wolves match and asked a few probing questions about what exactly happened during the match and, in response, Klopp pontificated, including saying something to the effect of "I am not sure you have played football but..." to preface a little snide rebuttal to Nedum's questions. He was obviously annoyed with having to answer for Liverpool's performance over and over (Nedum's was just one of many interviews), which is understandable, but the way he let it come out and the way he condescended to Nedum (who had a much more successful playing career than Klopp) was out of order.

For me, it was needlessly cuntish behaviour.

It's obviously not the first time for Klopp. But the way the media tries to bury it and maintain this 'every bloke' image of Klopp is just infuriating.

Nedum - 188 Premier League appearances, called up for Nigeria national team (but decided he wanted to try and get in the England team),

Klopp - 0 Bundesliga appearances.

Thanks for proving I am not crazy as apparently I was the only blue on Earth that watched the interview live and ESPN have decided not to post it online (at least, nowhere I have been able to find). They even cut the 3-4 minutes the studio team spent joking about the interview with Nedum from any match videos posted online.

I still find it very difficult to believe they would have done that if Pep had acted the same way with a former Liverpool player interviewing him.

apparently, to the letter of the law, that Salah goal can be given as onside (phase of play, intentional this that and the other blah blah).

Thing is, and unbelievably i'm agreeing with Danny Murphy, that exact scenario is flagged offside, whether the ball even reaches Salah (or equivalent) or not, in the league every weekend up and down the football pyramid most of the time. Thereby showing we have either mass misinterpretation of a rule or, at the very least, total inconsistency.

More to the point, why even have a linesman! From what I've read it was the referee who told him to put it up so he did (several seconds after the goal was scored) just so it could be checked by VAR. The linesman clearly didn't think it was offside but VAR then had to stick with his decision because the camera angles were shit. Ridiculous

A simple readymade solution - make the ref, linesmen, 4th official, VAR room, all be publicly mic’d up and in camera, with unedited full recordings being publically available.

but ‘strangely’ , this simple idea isn’t implemented , nor discussed or brought up even fleetingly by any pundits/commentary/media.

The fact that Salah was where he was is the reason the defender intentionally played the ball. How is that not gaining an advantage? How many defenders would have the presence of mind to not play the ball, and thereby Salah gets flagged offside.
The offside rule needs changing in this scenario, as it's not fit for purpose.
