£85 million record signing and current 6th choice forward finally gets a start foe the dippers on the same night erling haaland, Darwins inferior, breaks the all time premier league scoring record.

Funny how the dippers are claiming the comparisons and predictions of him being better than haaland mever existed. They've turned to the classic deny deny deny approach

The guardian article quoted a few posts back, says he cost £64m… give it till the summer and he’ll be below Haaland’s £51m!

To be fair, I think the £85m included a lot of performance-based bonuses, and given how shit his performances have been, I think it's safe to say they probably haven't had to pay them yet.

Hilarious that he was ever compared to Haaland. He's not even as good as the player we brought in for £14m from Argentina.

Nunez: 25 starts, 15 subs, 2213 mins, 14 goals
Alvarez: 19 starts, 23 subs,1711 mins, 14 goals

Oh, and that's not counting the four goals on the way to winning the World Cup.

You know what, in any other circumstances, that'd be an alright first season for a youngish striker. But they paid world class money for him and got the return of a decent mid-table striker. Alvarez is playing in a team where he's often the second striker, whereas Nunez is supposed to be the main man.

When you see Haaland taken out by the West Ham defender last night and then Nunez running across the Fulham lad and throwing himself to the floor......anyone with even a passing interest in the game would say ours was by far the more obvious foul and clear penalty.

Yet,somehow......that wasn't the case, and the tramps benefit again from a very dubious decision.

Anyone got a clip of the nunez dive/penalty please

Reading the tramps forum the way they are not really referring to it makes me suspect that it is clearly a dive

Hope we are not seeing some favouring them by the ref after last week

Still not seen that back at the game looked nailed on

A penalty was given for that? Unbelievable!
You would think with the way the tramps have been disrespecting refs over the past month that they would not be getting decisions in their favour but the opposite seems to apply. Absolutely ludicrous that this was given.

Again,a lack of consistency, and an inability to recognise simulation, from officials,is making a mockery of the game.
