The level of arrogance, selfishness & total lack of any self awareness of his many limitations is breathtaking.
Wants to be the best full back? He’s not even the best full back at his club.
I suggest he lowers his horizons somewhat until he learns how to defend, you know, like a fullback should.

I think he is a good offensive player & his crossing & deadball skills are really good, but he is a very limited defender & should be nowhere near a conversation regarding ballon dor.
The fact that he has been, wrongly in my opinion, crowbar’ed in midfield ahead of established & better midfield players at england & club level too, speaks volumes about how he has been found out at fullback.
Good player, certainly not a great player, but what an ego!

I think Arteta has some explaining to do. The amount of time-wasting from them is obviously orchestrated, probably worked on in the training sessions. But the question is why? He's got a decent squad with some very good players, he's not tactically naive and he's obviously learnt well from the master, so why such negativity? And on such a scale?
He cannot justify the amount of pretend injuries his players 'suffer' throughout a game, nor the overly-blatant time-wasting from the 'keeper, so there has to be some reasoning behind his thinking, but whatever it is it's having a detrimental effect upon the club as a whole. They have now become a byword for underhanded treachery by most football fans that I know of - fans that were totally indifferent to them before.

Got to be honest, I didn't watch it.

But I doubt his performances vary very much from game to game.
