After suffering the purgatory of the Villa game, Saturday's match made me think I was watching two teams heading in opposite directions.

Liverpool have every right to crow after they dismantled a dismal City team.
You are right our two clubs are heading in opposite directions.

As long as Klopps there, they'll be there or there abouts imo. They'll definitely be very good in the big games.

Watch the twunts get beat on Sunday.
Amazing how they get so carried away with one win.
Couldn't give a monkeys if they beat us twice a season, they'll never win the league again, Klopp or no Klopp

The dippers fans are far more irritating now that they win f*ck all , than when they had truly great sides in the 70's & 80's , they used to come to Maine Road and batter us nearly every season , but their fans were OK , but their current crop of fans are just a bunch candle lighting ,mourning c*nts , they win a couple of games and the orders for bunting fireworks and champions t-shirts are placed , and the open top bus is in for its annual service , just hope their youth team do not win the Liverpool Senior Cup , we will never hear the last of it.

Give it a couple of weeks and see them lose at home to west brom or Sunderland and all will go back to normal for them.

like it has done every season since 1989.
their game plan of run run run will knacker those poor players, and folk like sturridge etc wont be able to sustain it week in week out.their thursday evening soccer nights will push them to the limits before southampton at home for instance. even if they do make champions league next season they will have to spend a shed load to give them the squad to cope with two big competitions and the injuries which come hand in hand with that.
its not easy, and FFP , their own creation, will bite them hard.
good luck to them i say, but well played sat night, no arguments after an impressive performance.

Absolutely, im not detracting from their performance on Saturday, they were excellent and we were poor. Like you say, its not easy to sustain that level and they don't have either the players or the squad depth to put a run together like what would be required to get close to the title. They need huge investment to get to that level and like you say, FFP restricts that big time.
