strange to read the arrogance on here "men against boys" ... really? take off your blue tinted shades for a second. This is a rejuvenated liverpool team, different from last year's team. Suarez and Coutinho are tricky players. Both our defence and midfield have to be alert for the full 90mins. I think this is a game for a mobile and quick defender. Perhaps lescott instead of Martin. They also break well on the counter, with Sterling who is too quick. So clichy should start on left.

Im hoping for a win or a draw the very least, but liverpool will be up for this game. Toughest game of the season!

Our midfield will dominate. Looks back at the Rags and Arsenal games if you need evidence. They'll throw long balls at Suarez and Komps will clear up.
Just need to watch out on the counter.

Kompany will bully suarez just like he did to rooney earlier in the season in the derby

Both Rooney and Suarez are different type of players. Suarez is more ball on feet, attacking midfielder/forward. Rooney is also a dribbler but in comparison to Suarez, not fit to lace his boots. Suarez will run with the ball, trick u into committing fouls outside the box and makes smart intelligent runs. Quicker than Rooney.

What worries me is Sterling's pace and Coutinho being able to move to midfield and play through balls. He can also attack our defence. Its a game where the ball will be played on the ground more than in the air.

Henderson also another to watch. A box to box type midders.

Yaya and Fern will have their work cut out. We should go in with a 3 man midfield, with milner providing extra cover. Yaya sometimes fails to track back. Milner is perfect to slot alongside those two.

This will be a difficult game mostly because of they have the most in form striker. The rest of the team I don't think is littered with world class players but rather in form ones. With us being at home and possessing the quality we have, I really think we can get a good win. My only worry is if we are pushing to to much with the injuries we have, not having a proper right back and a make shift back-line is not going to be ideal against these. Think this one will be another we score 6 you score 3 games which really is okay providing we get the win. We by far though have the better midfield and I think against a better quality of player like Kompany, we can keep Suarez quiet.

Suarez hasnt faced anyone near the level of Vincent Kompany yet and i am queitly confident he will be kept subdued by him, these encounters seem to bring the best out of Vince. The midfield battle is where this game will be decided. Pretty certain we will go with a 5 its just a question of Milner or Navas. I would personally go with Milner to help out the full backs. Hope Zabaleta is fit as i dont fancy Clichy at RB.

Liverpool have impressed this season and are a good side. I will give them credit and say this is probably our toughest test at home so far. However we have beenfucking awesome and they havent faced a team with anything like the quality we have. I expect a win. 3-1.

I do agree with this. I can't remember which game it was - maybe the 3-0 LIverpool win at Anfield, not sure - but going into one previous game we all laughed at the prospect of Yaya vs Lucas. Even the Liverpool fans were cringing at the prospect. And yet on the day, Lucas completely bossed it. We need to treat them with respect and work hard and concentrate 100% for 90 minutes.

That said, I don't think Liverpool will outscore us at the Etihad. We are very likely to score (having done so in every league game for over 3 years), and chances are we will score 3 or 4. I can't see Liverpool scoring 3 or 4 so long as Komps is fit, so we should win.
