Anything to have a moan some of our fans. 1. It's gone through a journalist so some will be lost in translation. And 2. Is he far wrong?

We're the fourth biggest club in the North West when you take into account actual fanbases. That's before you even take Arsenal and Spurs into account. But who actually gives a fuck?

I say leave the fella be and let him work on his project, his own fans are gonna push him out the back door at this rate, not the media. True or not, the guy's a football manager, not a god and not a Blue. He's paid £15m (or whatever) to be here. He will pursue his own career objectives for whatever time suits him. He wasn't left in a cradle in Greggs' doorway, wasn't born to a virgin mother in M11 and doesn't eat barms. City barely registered on his scale before he came.

Two things, one, these aren't Pep's words, but the words of his biographer who isn't working with him now anyway.

Secondly, we aren't in Europes elite right now by a long chalk. We won one European competition two generations ago. We may have a bit of cash right now but until we start dominating or getting to the odd CL final we will continue to be "second tier" in terms of elite clubs.
