Paqueta is a very good player IMO and it’s not his fault the market is truly fucked.

That said, West Ham’s Papa John’s European Trophy hasn’t half papered over some cracks. Don’t forget they were in a relegation battle until the final few games of the season.

That is despite have a so called world class midfield paring of Paqueta and Rice who are valued at over £180 million.

Yeah i get that the market is screwed, but to splash this much money on player who i'd be very suprised was even on our radar until the last few days feels almost a panic buy of the back of sunday.

We'll know all about him, and will have for years.

Maybe the decision to actually strengthen has been made recently but the list of potential players will already be there.
