As you say, allegedly. Just read 'fraud' for 'gambling' in my comment and much the same applies. Everyone on the planet has the 'potential' to commit fraud, and it's extremely difficult to spot, even under due diligence review.

If it's true, there's no-one to blame here other than the player.

I read somewhere that he earns £150k a week, let's say it's "only" 100k. Why the hell should you be into betting or let your family members to bet and take the risk? Do you short in money? You make more in a week than other people make in two years.
