No they wouldn't.The one thing that still annoys the crap out of me about this whole saga it that if Kate and Jerry had been a pair of saggy arsed tramps from a council estate in Bootle they would have (rightly) had their other kids taken off them in a heartbeat and placed into protective care because of what they did.

I was one.I’m sure I remember a few on here who weren’t all that critical of their decision to pop out for a bit leaving the kids at home, and saying loads of parents did this. Not mine and I certainly wouldn’t have done
I worked on campsites all over Europe for 3 years and parents 'popping out for a bit' was a regular thing.
