Absolute crackling proposal.

Designed by EPR Architects, Colloco would comprise 200,000 sq ft of office space on the corner of New Quay Street and Gartside Street. The 16-storey office block has been designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, 5.5-star NABERS score, and to be net zero carbon.

Where's that circular tower in the opening shots? To go against my stated opinion on most of the new skyscrapers going up, that one nearly looks presentable.

Ooh - not heard of this scheme. Obvs that skyline will different again (Viadux and the new Whitworth street tower are missing from there).
A skyline just needs one special looking tower, something that makes it distinguishable to the rest in height and design. We can have as many boxes as we want then, boxes are all just there to support the centre piece and add mass to the overall skyline.

I think we may be a fair while off that but would one good to have something really special tower wise.
Irrespective of that, the skyline is utterly blooming.
A lot of people earn a hell of a lot of money. I met a girl once who spent £800 a week on flowers for her house. Fresh batches every Friday whether they needed replenishing or not.

I don’t have £800 a month to myself.
I thought my monthly croissant bill was high.....

Couple of questions:
Are there still going to be 4 tower on the Trinity Island plots?

And on Great Jackson/New Jackson, are they building those 4 towers at the same time (seems like they're split into two towers on SSC?)? Aware that Lighthouse was the 5th of those too.

I'm really looking forward to all the developments in the First Street area being completed.
I often cut through there and along Hulme Street whilst walking from Castlefield to the Aquatics Centre and back, and it's all a bit of a mess at the moment.
I'm sure it will all look brilliant and that area of town feel less desolate on completion.
