Final designs have yet to be confirmed - but the council says the new developers will have to 'celebrate the distinct architectural heritage of the Northern Quarter'

Easy to drive up,Mossley Road from Ashton and turn left and go along Broadcarr Lane before you would drop in to Mossley, easy to find a few spaces where the old pub used to be , and from there walk up to the Pike. The council last year have just made the paths upto the Pike much better with new paving .Well worth going up there,you can see all the hills around Tameside,Harridge Pike,Wild Bank and Buckton Castle Hill the otherside of looking towards Manc.
