Spring has come early to Eden with the arrival of the plants for the living wall.

They arrived in separate green modules and will be stored on site and prepped prior to installation.

Thank you to our partners Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd and ANS Global for the exciting delivery!

Last week we were excited to welcome visitors from the Royal Horticultural Society - RHS Bridgewater and Salford City Council to meet with Emma and Ella from The English Cities Fund (ECF).

Emma and Ella delivered a presentation on Eden and talked through the building’s innovative features and design. The team from RHS Bridgewater were particularly interested in the makeup of the living wall, the 350 species of plants, as well as the bug hotels and bird boxes that will provide a haven for birds, bugs and bees.

The visit ended with a tour of Eden including a trip to the communal roof terrace featuring panoramic city views. With a shared passion for creating places that support community, and promote sustainability and wellbeing, RHS and ECF had plenty to discuss.

Eden is part of the place-changing, £1bn, 50-acre Salford Central regeneration, being delivered by ECF – a strategic JV between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England – in partnership with Salford City Council.
