Considering the amount of hand wringing and whining from you alone about the managers being linked with the City job, it would be remiss of me to not at least point out that City could easily quash the speculation. Whether you like it or not, the reason City haven't is because they don't want to - which is why we've had players saying they have no idea if Mancini will stay, and Mancini pleading his case via the media about how his players have let him down, the board let him down last summer etc.

Plenty of arguments to support Mancini getting another season IMO- but not many if any credible ones for the wall of silence that has been put up by City with regards to the manager's future. When even the players are being kept in the dark IMO that can only mean at the very least his future is being considered and isn't at all assured.

Billy liar..has a ring to it.:) Dont you get fed up posting shite about people that you cant back up ?? Find one post about me refering to other managers..

And try not to get all hissy as usual... you old woman.

Careful mate-He may have another bluemoon meltdown as he did a few weeks ago when he caused the thread to be locked down for a while.
Nothing will ever convince Billy about Mancini. It is his number one passion in life and until Mancini is gone he will never ever be happy. I think he will be oh so unhappy this summer when Mancini has lifted yet another trophy for us and cemented 2nd place in the league. Billy I dont think I am talking out of place here but you are judging Mancini on defeats at Everton,Sunderland and out shocking european adventure..Malaga had a good european adventure didnt they, but are going to win the sum total of fuck all this season.

This from a bloke, who during his MUEN days, defended Agent Hughes to the bitter end, and then spent months trashing Bobby after his hire. I remember, because I helped lead the charge against MH and was a stalwart early defender of Bobby, and he and I clashed repeatedly there...

WTF? We wouldnt have had honor to watch Yaya, Silva,Aguero if it werent for Mancini.

The present city team is made of Mancini signings he AND ONLY he we have to thank for all the success we got.

Money dont buy you titles or success, look at QPR look at Liverpool.

Mancini has given us a world class team who play world class football to question him is mental.

Actually, it is Sheikh Mansour who has 'given us a world class team' not Bobby, nor Khaldoon, nor anyone else. Sheikh Mansour is the club, not anyone else. Players come and go, and so do managers.

Honestly, I look at other teams and compare them to our own and I think by now we should be walking the Premiership and competing right now for Champions League glory.

Just see how Manchester United have won the Premiership at a canter... mash up the Manchester United line-up with our own from last Monday, you would only swap in Van Persie from their team. Chelsea is a club in absolute turmoil and I think we should be by far the top team in England right now.

Mancini is a very capable manager and has proven it domestically, but the general perception it football circles, particularly in Italy, is that he gets found out in Europe. You can say Dortmund and Real Madrid are top sides, but Ajax made us look foolish and they didn't even impact on the Europa League.

Manchester United will strengthen, Chelsea may well have Mourinho back, Tottenham, Liverpool are coming up strongly and Arsenal are (allegedly) planning heavy reinforcement, I don't think "let's give Bob one last chance" is a chance we can afford.

Mancini has done a good job, but I think with a special manager next season the sky is the limit.
Following on, Guillem Balague said on Revista De La Liga that if Soriano/Begiristain can convince our owners and ourselves then we will hire Manuel Pellegrini this summer. From what he's achieved domestically and in Europe with Villarreal/Malaga, and some of the attacking football I've seen Malaga play, I'd cream myself if he's here for next season.

When you talk about what he's achieved domestically and in Europe are you referring to him winning nothing?
Some of the attacking football I've seen us play has been exceptional. If you would cream yourself at the thought of us losing a born winner and employing an older less successful man then knock yourself out - personally I'd say it was fucking mental..
Try incredibly consistent league performances with limited resources at Villarreal (they've been relegated since) including a second place finish, coupled with consistent Champions League performances including a semi-final appearance. Went to Real Madrid for a season and led them to their highest ever league points total (before being harshly replaced with Mourinho), came to Malaga and led them into the Champions League with their highest ever league points total, before two crazy minutes and an offside goal denied them a debut season semi-final appearance, and is still pushing for a second Champions League appearance (if UEFA allow) all under great financial strain.

Bobby is in charge of the best squad in England, to be brutal despite two good performances against a weak United team and a tired directionless Chelsea he isn't Pellegrini.

Mansour gave us Mancini who then assembled a world class team for us..

Unlike many others, I do not reside in this thread. I check in every day, for a limited amount of time, and reply to posts I haven't seen if I wish to. Especially if some of them are specifically asking that I be banned. If you cannot comprehend that, I feel sorry for you...

-- Tue Apr 16, 2013 4:52 pm --

Only partially true, as Hart, Kompany, Richards, Zabs, Kolo, Barry and Tevez were already in place. However, I thank you for proving my point. No Sheikh, no rattle, no roll...

I think you'll find only one post addressed you personally, the rest, mere condescension.

And don't feel sorry for me, you see, I'm not the one who feels the need to gain self worth and indulge my arrogant complex on an internet forum. In fact, I feel sorry for you...
