Monaco just offered him €12M a year for 5 years, think he'll take it.

Drawing: Bayern, Dortmund and Real Madrid in the Champs League = unlucky

Drawing: Watford, Stoke, Leeds, Barnsley and Wigan = not lucky

Excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but you missed out Chelsea

Without wishing to detract from our generally dismal performances in the Champions League, here are a few things to bear in mind.

In our first season we went out with 10 points - enough to have qualified from every group bar 1 in the previous 7 seasons.

Our 'pot 4' teams have been Napoli & Dortmund - (not Otelul Galati & FC Cluj!!)

Teams qualifying from our groups have produced 2 finalists & a semi finalist, & the other one (Napoli) were minutes from knocking out the eventual winners, Chelsea.

Teams from utd groups haven't progressed past the Q final (Galatasaray this year)

utd have progressed 1 round further than us in the last 2 seasons, despite being in much easier groups, yet no-one is accusing fergie of losing the plot or being a European flop.

Give Bobby a break I say.

Fair enough but six of those came against a Villareal side who went on to be relegated from La Liga, and 3 came against Bayern's reserve team in a dead rubber at the end of the group.

I really don't see the point in constant comparisons between ourselves and the rags. I think it's a fair argument in general to say that we have had incredibly difficult group stage draws both last season and this season. However this doesn't detract from the fact we knew what our job was in both groups. Last season we needed to beat Villareal twice and get the better of Napoli, a good team but not a top team. We failed. This season we had to beat Ajax twice and since we couldn't do that our results against Dortmund and Madrid became wholly irrelevant.

The rags thing really gets on my tits to be honest. He and they aren't my bench mark for what we should be as a football club. He has managed two European cups in twenty years of managing an often one team league in which they've rarely had serious competition and for a long time had the most financial and buying power. They should've done better and most rags with half a pea sized brain will tell you that he has significant tactical limitations which are often found out in Europe.

47.6%, 50% and 52.5%

I know it's about winning trophies and not winning percentage, but thought it interesting the see the win percentage of Mourinho, Benitez and Mancini at Inter.

Any guesses which is which?
