Mancini (cont)

Seriously I just do not understand this prick complaining after we've just had an amazing week. Beat the rags at their place yet again, made another FA Cup final and Aguero just performed the great escape but still that is not good enough for him. Maybe you should find yourself a club that matches your ridiculous and unrealistic demands and save us from more of your fuckwittery.

So we're in agreement on about 99% of what you said, (and I've stated this more than I care to count) I just favor bringing in someone new before we do a massive clear out and bring in more players. If Mancini fails to deliver (we both know its certainly possible), then the next manager will either have to spend big again, or be stuck with players that wouldn't be in his squad if he had a choice.

As I've said I have no problem with anyone that believes that Mancini should go. We all have different opinions as to the best way forward for the club.

Do you understand that I have to repeat myself on here because many don't read the posts of those who are leaning towards replacing Mancini? Its not an "agenda" or, "campaign" (whatever that is), but simply attempting to explain our reasoning when others come in an berate our opinions. If you read through my previous posts (God forbid), you'll see that about half of the posts simply try to clarify that those of us that are open to a replacement don't expect us to win the CL anytime soon, but merely progress/be successful/give it a go. About once a page, someone says something that insinuates that we expect a CL trophy being paraded through the streets by next year, or the following half-dozen.

Not only do I not understand what the hell you wrote, I don't particularly care.

If you come on after the club makes an FA Cup final, a great achievement in the history of the club and talk nothing but negatives about it you should expect some criticism of your views. That's all I said back when, you chose to be offended by that.

Moomba, See what I mean?

To the above, what have I complained about, other than people like you acting like children and misunderstanding what I'm on about. Its truly amazing. I have stated probably 20+ times now that I am more than happy with the progress, but I doubt the owners are. But here you are, another one, completely misinterpreting what I've said, and posting something akin to smearing your own feces all over the internet. YOU ARE WHY I AM BEING NEGATIVE.

you obviously do not read the posts either.. Stony asked you how long you have been a City fan and you have ignored him,so now I will ask this simple question..

how long have you been a City fan ??

be honest.

Oh Jesus fucking Christ. What page did he ask that on? FYI, the first FULL city game I watched was after downloading an incredibly shitty recording of the 2002 3-1 Derby on Limewire, which I believe was in early 2003 thinking back to where I lived in College. Prior to that, it was more of a keeping tabs after coming to hate Manchester United (which everyone I knew that followed football suddenly began supporting). I believe it was 2007 when I was able to start downloading their games on a semi-regular basis on Torrents and Newsgroups. Forgive me, though, for my lack of access. To this day I'm limited to what gets posted on Newsgroups, which is only the big matches.

But oh wait, when did I join Bluemoon? Yeah, that's how long mine is. Oh me, yours is longer than mine, I'm a bit blushed.

Calm down dear you'll have a stroke...

If someone breaks the code of conduct, complain to the mods.

You've handed out your own fair share of insults in this thread so you shouldn't be too precious if you get a bit back. To be honest, you bring most of it on yourself.

And if you genuinely are happy with our progress, why are you not advocating the retention of Mancini and start talking about the positives of his reign rather than just the negatives. There's a pretty big inconsistency in your posts and that statement that you are happy but doubt the owners are.

Just had to give my 4 year old a talking to about telling the truth, I can pretty much repeat it word for word if you like.

What a load of horse shit. If you were happy with the progress you would have done what the rest of us did after we made the final and have a pint and celebrate. But no what did you do? March yourself straight to your computer and write a negative post about Mancini. Just give it a fucking rest already. You have no idea what our owners are thinking and thankfully they are much more intelligent and patient than you are.

So in your own words, in previous posts, you started following City when we got promoted (given our history that is no definitive time frame)

Watched your first full match in 2003 (a downloaded one from the previous year)

And actively began supporting City when Sven was manager.

And you're on here saying what the owners might be thinking?

Seems legit..

In answer to Dethred

Im happy with the progress we have made so far in a number of ways

Mancini took over and firstly made us a better defensive unit....we have had the best defensive record last year and I think its the same this year.....that is progress

We hadnt one anything in X amount of years when RM took over. We have now won in the last 3 years the FA cup, the prem league and the charity shield and now are in another final (not counting my chickens on that one though)...but overall after not winning anything for decades that is huge progress

Yes there has been huge investment BUT it had to be that way. We were so far behind (mid table is a huge gap in quality if not actual league places)...that initial investment has got us qualifying for the champs league ever year (progress again) and competing for the prem league every year. That initial investment was needed to get us to the point where we are now...being successful in our own league/competitions. (remember that also one thing that is regualry used to batter the club with is the amount that we have spent "X millions on the squad".....it isnt Mancini that decides the prices (or even Hughes)...it was Everton that decided 20+ mill for lescott....and various other clubs who have added a "city tax" to the prices of players(pure greed in my opinion)

I wonder who you consider to be a wasted buy by RM......Id say sinclair and garcia are very suspect and I dont rate kolorov but with the rest i think he has ought very well and got value for money with al his purchases...(i may have forgotten one or two though so feel free to pull me up on any and ill tell you whether i agree or disagree)..but anyway 3 out of however many it is a pretty good track record in the transfer market

He has also improved a number of players as individuals...Kompany, Zabba, Richards, Hart, Barry, Tevez, clichy (He was criticised to hell at arsenal) and even lescott have all added to their game and improved (IMHO).

To get to the point where we are going to be (more) successful in the champs league we are going to have to add one or two top quality additions to the squad....this for me is the next step...we have estalished ourselves in the prem league/home cup comps and regualrly do well in them, next step is to get beyond the group stages......this will prve very difficult due to our ranking/coefficient (what ever you call it) and that is why further investment is needed to get a couple of extra additions to get us to that level

I was going to write a paragraph or two but simon makes some excellent points so I'll settle for bumping his reply

You've been a troll of pretty much epic proportions. Bravo. I posted the honest fact that we were lucky with a couple of the ref decisions, and we were only dominant in the first half... and I was called a rag by probably 20+ people. If you didn't say that, I almost care.

It speaks volumes that I could clarify my position countless times, and yet it still doesn't sink in for dozens of people here. One poster literally repeated one of my points as if to point it out to me in contrast to what I as saying. Fucking hilarious.

No wonder you think I have an agenda, or "campaign". Truly comical. Obviously if Mancini is replaced, there will be very short memories about what was said in this thread.

Sooner or later Mancini will win the Champions League, I just hope its with City. However I fear that even this wont be enough for some of our supporters. I also cannot understand why his name is chanted full volume at EVERY match, which I must say he always acknowledges, and yet some on here criticise him as if he were a piece of shit. Give the guy a break back, him and support your team.
