I didn't say that so that's your on stupid applied logic.

My point is, what entitles you to comment on what the owners want?

Nothing is the answer by the way

No, but you implied it. I suppose there's almost a difference. Or did you mention when I began following City because that information enriches your life?

When have I ever said I know what the owners want? As a matter of fact, I made a point to say as much to another person a few posts ago.

Answer this please: Did the owners want to see progress?

(If your answer is anything but "no", then holy shit I must be a psychic.)

I think you'll find its pronounced 'sidekick'..

Do you remember this statement?

We are ambitious for the club, like you, but not unreasonably so and we understand it takes time to build a team capable of sustaining a presence in the top four of the Premier League and winning European honours.

And when it comes down to it, how have we not progressed?

6th when Mancini took over, now 2nd with a league title, FA Cup win, community shield win and the possibility of another cup win in the pipeline.

I mentioned it as it was the topic of your very own post that I initially quoted.

And another trophy is progress and we are in a great position to do that, it's not a year by year vision they have for the club.

Anything else you want to comment on and fail miserably?

Moomba's a troll ??? Give your a head a shake my friend.........you say that what your posting doesn't 'sink in for dozens of people here'.........have you stopped to think why ? Have you considered why you seem to be in a minority of one ? Have you perhaps wondered whether it's because you generally post a load of negative bollocks in a particularly arrogant style ?

If not, you should.

You're right, I have only 500+ posts, and yet this minority of one must have miraculously kept the Mancini out thread going for 600+ pages.

I should change my name to Jesus of Nazareth. I've managed to create a discussion of over 6000 posts, and I'm the only one thinking it might be a reasonable decision to replace the manager.

Forgive me, all I can do now is joke, because trying to explain the same basic concept over and over is getting boring.

I thought you were happy with our progress under Mancini?

The only progress in Europe, which the objective is "winning European honors", is that we have moved from nothing---->Europa League----->Champions League.

Each of those steps was based on progress in the premier league. There has been no actual progress in Europe itself.

Knocked out in the round of 16 in the Europa league
.
.
.
Knocked out, narrowly in the group stage of the CL our first go.
.
.
.
Knocked out dead bottom with only 3 points.

Where's the progress in Europe?

Not one person has claimed we have failed to make progress domestically on the whole, albeit this season we've fallen back domestically as well (Premier league-to-FA Cup is not forward an improvement per se). There would be no doubts about Mancini by anyone if he had done well in Europe, or it wasn't a complete risk to assume he'll improve in Europe. He was sacked from Inter Milan for the same reason, and Mourinho took essentially the exact same team to the CL title, the league, and a cup.

Fuck this, I just need to start copying and pasting the same thing over and over, because the same points have to be made because no one is allowing it to soak in (whether you agree with it or not).

Keep Mancini. Simple as that. We get rid of him then we risk going on a downward spiral like Chelsea. As long as Mancini is here we will always be challening domestically, give him a couple more seasons to crack Europe and then if there's no improvement then of course he'll have to go but right now it is pivotal that we keep Mancini!
