The whole thread is totally academic.
I know. It's about time it was laid to rest. As I write, it's gone on for 96 pages and there are other threads that gather hundreds more pages, yet all covering the same subject!
I disagree
Whilst he's in position the thread will run on and on with both positive and negative views and opinions.
This thread is no different than the threads we have on the opening page about Nasty, Garcia, Aguero and Gaz Baz, in my humble opinion of course?
do you want rid of all them too?

I'm more than happy to keep him. Done pretty well this year and I think he has been let down by some player's form and the transfer activity last summer. Give him a chance to work with Txiki and Soriano this summer on tweaking the squad and I think we can win the prem next season and go into knock outs of UCL. I feel that at its best, this team is the best in the PL, but depth is where we have been lacking this season, hopefully that will be rectified and the team will step up another level next season where Europe is concerned. Keep for at least 1 more season.

Antonio Conte has emerged as a managerial target for Manchester City

The Citizens are still on course to finish their season with a silver lining after beating Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Although they could lift a domestic trophy, Mancini isn't guaranteed to stay in his job next season.

And Conte, who was a target for Chelsea in the summer, has appeared on City's agenda.

Italian paper Corriere dello Sport claimed City have made an early approach for Conte.

The 43-year-old could see his side take a massive step towards the Serie A title if they beat Lazio tonight.

He was given a 10-month touchline ban at the start of the season for his part in Serie A's match-fixing scandal.

Pep and Jose are probably better than Bobby. After those two is there really enough reward to bringing someone else in?

What makes Conte, Pellegrini, Klopp, De Boer any better than a man who was won cup after cup in England and Italy and isn't even 50.

Honestly bored now, who will we have to put up being the new name bandied about come September?!

I agree. Should we part company with Bob then this is one name I certainly don't expect to see rock up at City.

I'll wager he'll be snubbing us before the week is out.

Winning the Bundesliga two years in a row ahead of Bayern without spending anything and the DFB pokal 2011-12, I think his 2011 cost around £15mil. He got 4 points in CL 2011-12 finishing below Arsenal, Marseille and Olympiakos. And look at his improvements the year after, it´s astonishing really to be in a semifinal with a team that cost as much as two of our players, give credit where it´s due. He´s no rookie and his team plays beatiful fotboll, they taught us a lesson twice I might add. He wins throphies, brings young players through and seems an like all around decent guy.

I would take Klopp, but I feel he isn't realistic option right now, and that is the point being made. People like Guardiola and Klopp may be better for us than Mancini but they are not options atm (at least that is what it seems like from Klopp).
