and the scum nearly got held at home to a non league side, these things happen in football, try and get over it
so cos united almost draw with crawley we should be grateful of our shortcomings?
nope sorry, you've still lost me.
ok let me try again. Every team, however good they are, have poor performances. We had 2 poor performances v Leicester and Notts County away, BUT we got through them, and from what I remember we stuffed them in the replays. Like the scum were apparently shit v crawley and still got through. And they aint a bad team, and we beat them AND ARE STILL IN THE FA CUP, UNDER MANCINI - that's what I meant.
We have also had other poor performances but the manager has been in the job just under a year and a half. Yes the club has spent £300M, but of that amount Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, Bridge, Santa Cruz etc are not at the club anymore, and a lot of the others were bought by a different manager. Personally I did not like hughes but I was not forever (and you never stop) on here bleating against him, because I recognise we need continuity of management. I do not agree with everything Mancini does but I recognise he has had some major issues to deal with - inherited difficult players with big egos, players who did not want to see the previous manager go, the expectations of being the richest club in the world, generally negative (and consistently intrusive) press, and a huge turnover of players into and out of the club over the last 3 years, etc. I think the manager has done well and deserves our full support to move us into the next season, during which I think the likes of Boateng, Kolorov, Milner, Dzeko, Balotelli will be a lot more effective - these things take a little time, have a little patience
