What part of being the 4th best team in the country do you not get ? Taking the season as a whole (cos lets be honest Chelsea lost to Sunderland 3-0 & every team has looked dodgy at times) what is sh*t about being 4th ?

What's sh*t about having the 4th best goal difference in the league, suggesting we score more goals and concede less than 16 other teams in the premiership, how does that constitute boring ? Does that mean the majority of the premier league is boring ? Have you fallen out of love with football, maybe that's the problem.

If we play sh*t then what do Wigan play every week, worse than sh*t, in fact what is worse than sh*t ?

No issues with the fact you think we should be doing better, but to claim the football you are seeing is boring and sh*t based on what we've witnessed in previous decades is quite frankly making you look foolish.

If he finishes in the top 4 I'm more than happy for him to continue because he's done the job he was set by the board, hopefully then he would go on knowing where and what to improve in the squad with a full season in English football and Champions League football under his belt.

To people saying they would sack him if we finished fourth and won the FA Cup, well I find this total madness considering the club craves Champions League football in order to grow and has won nothing of note since 1976, what a laughing stock that would make us and surely no manager in the right mind would take the job then.

In short Mancini has his faults, as does every manager in Europe baring probably two, but I can see we've made progress as a unit on the pitch and are extreamly difficult to beat, he needs to take the shackles of and I'm confident with time he will do so to some extent and allow us to become a true force in the Premier League.

If we weren't to finish in the Champions League the board would then be fully justified in sacking him, and rightly so.

May I ask what this is based on?

By this I meant perhaps playing another advanced play maker for Silva to link up with further up the pitch therefore giving our forwards further support. Or even a deep lying play maker like Xabi Alonso who would also continue the defensive duties of the player he replaced in the side, he did this at Inter with Cambiasso doing the holding, deep lying play maker role while also having Figo in the side.

True I didn't think of this, I'm just assuming with the amount of times he said at the start of the season he believed Chelsea would win the title and that we simply wanted to finish top 4 that his target set was Champions League football, weather that's finishing 4th or 2nd and above only him and the board know as you say.

Of course we are on the slide if you look back over the last 6 games but then again so are United. Thats the premiership for you, if you'd have looked at this a month ago Chelsea would have been in roughly the same position as us in the form table, theres no reason why with the fixtures we've got coming up we can't turn it around similar to how Chelsea have done

Fact of the matter if we are 4th despite having a bit of a wobble, whats important is we snap out of that starting with the Sunderland game and go on from there, we are in pole position to finish 4th as it stands
