He says this shite every time we lost a big match, didn't he say he knew the problem after losing against Ajax turned out he didn't have a clue. We will destroy Leeds on Sunday and hopefully there will some light at the end of tunnel this season in the Fa Cup but the damage has already been done in the league.

If we lose to leeds i think you should take the lead role in falling down 2
You would be perfect mate.
Would be honoured and when Mourinho takes over in the summer you can take part in the third movie.

Should he stay or should he go is one thing, but some of the speculation on this thread i feel is demeaning to Mancini, his staff and the players.

Does anyone know for sure whats occurred, no they dont. We had a bad day at the office and now out of the blue player proffesionalism is doubted, talk of cancers in the dressing room and the like.

I find it all a bit mindboggling to be honest. Then again perhaps my expectations are lower than most. What is apparent is that the raising of expectations has led to a rise in hysteria on here. You only have to read a few threads and its like some sort of nutjob virus has spread through the forum. With everyone out to be more controversial and more hysterical than the last person.

It wasnt as bad on here during the dog days of Pearce as its been the last two days.

So if he goes he goes and i will back the next manager (as long as no rag connections) if he stays i will back Mancini.

I know that mate, that's why I'm not biting. A time will come where the AHCs turn on certain posters (and you and I will be first up against the wall) and blame us for Mancini being sacked. "Well if it wasn't for certain spoilt so-called supporters like you underdemining him every day" and all that harrumphing. You just watch ;-)

I'm not sure ... as with the sale of Mario, the biggest gobshites will just go into hiding, or rewrite history and start saying things like "always knew it was best for him to leave" ... "not fair on him being stuck here without the support of the owners" ... etc.

Anyway, the tide has turned IMO. Surprised at the number of Blues I've come across in the last few days who having spent the last few months sat high up on a fence, are slowly sliding down the side of "it's best for all concerned if he goes this summer".

It was the overriding sentiment in the pubs after the Southampton game, mate. Noone gloating, noone happy about it, but most people just accepting that it's the way things are going, barring a miracle.

DD is right on this... some of the most staunch mancini supporters are starting to see the signs... The mood is one of inevitability

Those so called senior players who wants Bobby sacked should be the ones first in line to exit door. Why don't they show that kind of responsibility on the pitch?
Cancers !(see Chelsea )
I agree. If anybody set out halfarsed or sabotaged us then fuck em off.

No place in football for stands like that.

Bobby's going to need 200 million every two years if that's the case ... because these "cancers" are players he bought. The players with balls not big enough are players he bought.
Yup..turning their backs and instead of supporting the manager .
They should be grateful for the amount of paychecks they get paid and earn it.

If we lose to Leeds will you reassess whether Mancini is the right guy to take us forward ?

Also ... I told you last week Cookie that I was very very worried about the Southampton match. Mancini's team are worryingly predictable and unless something drastic changes I don't expect much better when we go to Goodison, the Liberty, etc.

So perhaps we should stay on topic, yes?

Considering your one of the main culprits in turning threads about the manager into threads about me and Dave and your personal opinion of us, you'll forgive me if I laugh heartily at that post.

And as you often cite staying on topic as an invite to others to leave said threads if they don't like what's being posted, I'll have a chuckle too.

I'd just like to know who's idea it was to push up all the time encouraging the saints to hit us on the break again and again! The team or the managers?
I feel that was a breakdown in that either the fullbacks and more advanced midfielders/forwards should have pressed better (or at all really) or Mancini told them to just go for it. I imagine it's the latter. In the end, that means both players and manager are to blame, but it's the job of the manager to get the players on the same tactical page. He didn't. He best hope they are on the same page against Leeds.

I didn't question his support. He supports the club. I simply think he has a blind spot concerning what he thinks as being the only solution. He questioned my support although granted he did attempt cleverness in that he didn't name a name specifically.

You did say you didn't think DD minded City losing which could easily be taken as questioning his support. And the whole exchange was on the back of someone very much questioning his support of the club. Whatever anyone thinks, given the amount of pure shit he gets on here, merely for having a different opinion, I don't think people should complain too much when he fights back.
Two points.

First, viewing a loss as a temporary setback is natural if you think the club is on the right track, which I believe overall Dave does. We have the infrastructure and the owners to make periods like this not be nearly as devastating to ambitions as they otherwise would be.

Second, I would have more sympathy if he hadn't spent the latter part of the summer blasting people on here for not being good enough supporters for his liking. I used to very much enjoy debating football with him, but he started casting a very wide net a while back. I miss that Dave from before to be honest. He had great contributions.

I think lots of people have and are still becoming more and more entrenched in their views regarding Mancini. It is pretty much the same on both sides of the argument (although admittedly the number of people on each side of the argument has differed hugely). It isn't bringing out the best in people by and large and it's a bit harsh singling out people when many are capable of dishing out stick. I doubt DD wants anyone's sympathy, I'm choosing to defend him, he hasn't asked me to. For all I know he probably doesn't want me to and he certainly doesn't need me to.

Not really mate i will get behind him 100% if he is the choosen one
Thats what you kinda do when you follow your team.

I bet the players feel Mancini's attitude towards them is demeaning and I bet that has a far more negative impact on them than anything posted on this forum.
