I think given the investment we should expect to win something every year, not everything. Being in 4 competitions each season it doesn't seem unreasonable with the squad we have (if it was performing as it should) to win one of them (probably not CL yet but title or one of the cups are winnable). Once this FFP bollocks is gone we'll have a good chance of that again I reckon.

So - bearing in mind that a quadruple in the fifth year would meet the target - he could still claim to be 'potentially in credit' for another four years.

I don't think they included the capital one cup but he is on track.

We can't win it every year and some years we won't win anything.

We are however in a really shit run of form, the pressure is on him and he needs to deliver. He did it last year when we were 8th and he needs to do it now. We have conceded 2 goals in 5 of the last 6 games. Even he said he is not happy with the defence. He needs to work on this even if it means compromising up front. We can't expect to score three goals every game and with Dzeko and Jovetic just not doing the business, he can't keep relying on Kun to bail him out.
