Can we stop mentioning Chelsea? They played one "kid", who is on £20k a week, out of position at RB. That's it. They had another two kids on the bench, who they didn't bring on. It was hardly a youth revolution.

They played Andreas Christensen a young CB as well as Zouma both struggled along side their first choice CB.

Unfortunately we are crap when Toure doesn't play. We can cope with the loss of any player but not him. He is our most important player.

He is and we need to keep him and find a better partner for him than the Ferns are.

Yep. Those two are average when he is there to hold their hands. When he isn't, they are dire. Fernandinho 20 min performance today was shambolic.

Yes I agree having Toure missing is completely disrupting our style of play at the moment but I was talking about progress (e.g. moving the team forward beyond the end of the season). Toure is very good in a slow, patient, possession style when you're dominating games but he's beyond useless defensively against any style of opponents. When you're playing the likes of Bayern Munich or anyone in the Champions League who can retain possession he becomes a complete liability because he doesn't press or even attempt to shut down passing angles. Equally the same can be said of any team who likes to break quickly, he runs forward like a fucking steam train but runs back slower than a fat lass in high heels.

Well the players seem to like throwing in a nice impression of the Wigan final every time we meet a championship side. It's starting to look like we have a real mental problem when it comes to "easy" games.

Totally agree. Toure's very good going forward when he's attacking but when we're on the end of the inevitable counter attack he makes no effort to track back and is no help to the defence.

Its bad that we have conceded 2 goals in 4 of our last 5 home games.

Even worse when you consider that 3 of them have been against Sunderland, Burnley and Middleborough.

To me he made 2 massive mistakes today. Playing kompany out of position and not bringing on dzeko at either half time or the 60 min mark. We had crosses firing in from a both sides at the start of the end half with our biggest player stood on the touch line. He kept looking back at the bench and you could see he wanted on the pitch eager to try and get on the end of them. Instead he took navas off and we lost all the attack down the right. Zaba stopped being able to get forward and overlap and milner kept cutting back inside.

Don't get me wrong we was poor today and the players need to take along hard look at themselves but think MP got the subs wrong today which could have made a big difference. Dzekos touch isn't the best but he scores goals a lot of the time big goals to leave him on the bench till 80 mins was a mistake.
