Marc Cucurella

I guess we are only waiting for Raz to be sold to put in a strong bid for Cucurella. We have the funds, looking at our current transfer balance.

Highest fee for a RB/LB ever was £60m for Hakimi, with Cancelo just a tad lower (also Mendy was in top territory).
Cucurella isn't that level yet after 1 PL season and a transfermarkt valuation of £24m.
Market prizes aren't top top at the end of the pandemic and if Cucu is the right fella we will surely get him on board.
Market prices are at the top when a player is under a long term contract and his club does not want or need to sell.

We will have to pay what they want or move on.

Bit like in a supermarket.
Only that the beer isn't being asked if it wants to join me ;)

Interesting info for future Brighton players.
So according to your theory we should sell Bernardo, at a lower price than we think he is worth, just because he, in theory, wants to leave for Barcelona? Would you agree if City sold Bernardo for 30-40 million when he has a long-term contract, just because he wants to? It does not work that way. If the price is too high for us it's okay to look at other options but you can not be angry at them for not releasing their player of the season for cheap.

Well I didn't say any of that and i assume in our little discussion we 3 are all on the same side.
If you think a player has zero influence so be it.
Bernardo's market value is at about 80m and if Bernardo wanted out and a club would pay, negotiations would start.
We are ready to pay a fair market value for Cucurella, but that can't be much higher than 50m, if at all.

If Brighton wouldn't sell no matter what the player wants
or ask for 90m THAT would truly be a difference to City's philosophy.

Like my own post? What are you lot on about? It's not even possible??? Try looking again.

I see I have raffled a few feathers.

Just for clarity, my cousin works for BHAFC and was chatting to Cucu last week on Zoom. This is where I got my info from. He was the one that made up about "up North being a shit hole", entertainment value let's say.

At the end of the day, only time will tell if I'm telling the truth or making it up. What I will say though, is I will return once you have announced that you are no longer interested and moved on to your next target.

Have a good day all.
Haha coarse he did unless your cousin is the manger or chairman he ain't going to say shit about his future why would he tell some random programe seller or whatever your cousin is haha

If we genuinely want him,he'll come.No player is turning down the opportunity of playing for the best team and coach in Europe, while making himself rich beyond his dreams.
