Let's pay 50m£. IMO Raum will not come. It's no excuses not to sign him, especially after 30M£ from Zinchenko's selling, at least 5M£ more than I expected.

Because he have 4 years in his contract, Brighton have the upper hands in negotiating table. It will be different if he only have 2 or 1 years on his contract.
I don't think we will get him much cheaper than 50m.

He may not be worth £50m, but if we want him we may have to pay it or look elsewhere, probably Raum.

We wouldnt be sanctioning the Zinchenko deal unless Cucurella was pretty much in the bag.

We are selling players who do not want to play a bit part role anymore. All of them have won multiple trophies. We make some decent money and use it to strengthen positions of weakness.
And strengthen rivals at the same time, nice!

What rival for the league over the last 5 seasons did we strengthen? Arsenal can’t even make top 4. Chavs have been able unable to stay the course.
We only have 1 immediate rival and that is loosely speaking the red scouse.

Arsenal will probably make top 4 if we keep flogging them half the squad, like wise Chelsea would probably end up winning the prem or cl as it's not only the player they'll end up buying they'll end up taking tactics and methods with them as well
