Not a good idea to compare the two, they are different players with different styles.

I don't see him as a midfielder. He's similar to Aguero.

Except that he is not at all. More like (but not the same ) as Silva but a better eye for a goal.

From what I've seen of the EDS I don't think he's that comparable with any of our players. Might turn out to be the closest to Jovetic. He seems to me to be a wide-forward, similar to Messi and Ronaldo (in style), hovering out wide and cutting inside onto his favoured foot.

Regarding the comparisons I'd say he's too quick and direct to be compared to David Silva, not quite direct enough to be like ronaldo and there's only Messi quite like Messi. The closest comparison I can think of with him is Alexis Sanchez. Obviously he's got a long way to go to get as good as Sanchez but he's the player I'd say he's gotthe the most similar style to

Looked very good tonight. His work rate was excellent deserves a place on the bench for a couple of matches. He'll play again against Watford for sure.

Can see where you get that comparison from with his physique Sanchez to me is a winger and nothing else, whereas Lopes can play on the wing or as an attacking mid. A bit like Nasri but more direct and more enjoyable to watch

He has the same build as Sanchez for sure.. same work rate. Sanchez is the player he should emulate IMO.

Well, he did get the same amount of assists in 90 minutes than national darling Januzaj has in 17 appearances. That's the base of an argument, I'd say, though more appearances from him are needed to complete said argument.

If it was the other way round and a united fan was saying their youngster was better after 3 games compared to ours with a regular run of games in the league, we'd call them a deluded rag so and so. Its too early to compare them, and definitely too early to come to the conclusion that Lopes is better

By slightly upgraded i only ment atleast Lopes doesn't dive. But yeah, he really looked like a class player tonight.

In each game he has done well. Deserves to be on the bench at least versus Watford

He'll be 100% committed too if he plays, and the other players will want to do well for him too.
