I'm hoping he's going to say he's a Lille fan.FantasyIreland said:SuperBlu said:He should be loaned again next season to Lille.

Marcos 'Rony' Lopes is carving up Ligue 1 with Lille and wanted by Brazil and Portugal ... but what the Manchester City Academy graduate really wants is to wear the sky blue
Marcos 'Rony' Lopes is starring for Lille on loan from Manchester City
Patrick Vieira dubbed the 19-year-old Portuguese as a 'special talent'
Named 'Rony' by childhood friends as he always wore a Ronaldo jersey
French journalist called Lopes Lille's most important player for his prodigious ability to both create and score goals
Moved to Portugal from Brazil as a child and is courted by both countries
He returns to City in the summer and hopes to push for the first team
I can't seem to post the rest of the article so you will have to click the link, sorry blues.

NAVAS, mate, navas! Lampard will also leave, so we should buy somebody like Praetmoomba said:Just watched an interview with him on the Ligue 1 preview show. Really like to see him back but there is no point if he's not going to get game time.
If he stays I think we've got to lose someone like Nasri, because sitting on the bench isn't going to do anyone any good.
K-Bo said:Just can't see him getting a chance next season. THe only way it will happen is if pellegrini/new manager is ordered to. I think the problem is when managers come here they arent coming for the academy, they are coming for the chance to sign top players and build a galacticos squad. So even if in the past they have been pretty good at bringing youth players through at other clubs they won't here, because they'll just request a new signing instead.
One of the key factors on MP's CV was his success with youth but he's come here and been worse than mancini for it almost. He started Pozo for a couple of games when he had no choice, and even then dropped him for a midfielder. There's too much pressure and they dont see themselves as having a long enough future to bother investing in youth.
I think lopes will go back to Lille next season and Denayer will go somewhere else, maybe la liga. Think there's a disconnect between board and coaches re youth players which can only really be solved by the board overstepping their bounds which they wont do.

Navas 38.
Jovetic 25.
Lopes should replace one of those players, there is plenty of games here for him.
The time to start giving our youngsters a chance is NOW.

Totally agree. Replace one with a signing, keep Navas and replace one with Lopes. He's a class player and needs to be given a chance. Gives hope to other academy players then too and hope will help drive them forward to fight for a place in our squad.
And this too. Although pellegrini was awful at most of manager's things - substitutions, decisions, motivation, transfers, etcNeville Kneville said:K-Bo said:Just can't see him getting a chance next season. Sooner or later, the first team manager will have to start using some of the kids. It has been a priority from Khaldoon, since the first days of the takeover. Pellegrini will have been able to get away with saying that the players were not quite ready last season, but he will find it difficult to maintain that position with all of them this season.
Sooner or later, the manager of the first team willhave to accept using some of these lads, or being replaced. We are not far off that imo & it could possibly be the case next season.
BigOscar said:Sent off for what looked like a very harsh red card. Looked a clear yellow for a regulation slide tackle that was just a split second late after over running the ball. The other team looked as confused as he did
It was a classic case of a ref trying to compensate for an earlier mistake. Lille had a guy handle it to stop a goal in the first half that the referee missed, so he was looking for a way to "make up for it" in the second halfSebastianBlue said:BigOscar said:Sent off for what looked like a very harsh red card. Neither set of players seemed to understand the decision and the French commentators thought it was very, very harsh.
