Yep, solid defender who played in 28 games last season and a big part of the best defence in the league the past 3 seasons.

Did you?

Yep Nastastic took his starting place.
So we sell him to sign another CB for depth?

Seems legit....

Lescott played more league games than Nastasic and more games in total. He will still get those games next season.

Your wishful thinking won't change that.
Does Lescott fit into Pellegrini's methods? I think that may go a long way to determine if he's a City player next season or not.

No, we have already signed another CB that plays his position. Novaretti is a LCB. We now have three (plus Rekik waiting in the wings makes four). Overkill, no?
No we haven't.

Again, your wishful thinking won't change anything.

You don't think Novaretti is going to be at City next year? If you don't fair enough.

You said we had signed him.

-- Jun 7th, '13, 16:20 --

If that's a hint at his "ball playing" abilities, it's as badly exaggerated as Joe's kicking imo.

Are you going to answer my question?

If we somehow get Marquinhos over Barcelona we would easily have the best young central defenders in the world in Nastasic and Marcos. Perhaps we would have had more chance if Mancini was still here, but anyway, we have Kompany.
varane is better than both of them imo

I used to think that, but the novelty wore off if you watch the rest of his matches. He had 2 incredible games against Barcelona when the whole world was watching. I would rank Marquinhos higher than Varane and even Nastasic in my opinion.

Er... no. I'm saying that I think the manager will make an evaluation of the personnel available to him and start the ones he feels most comfortable as it pertains to his tactical setup. If that's not Lescott, I think he will seek a move to improve his national team chances, and we'll need to sign more CB depth. If Lescott does fit into that or is willing to be a non-starting squad player (not taking into account injuries and/or rotation) then I imagine he'll stay.

lol you make a false assumption and try to deflect from it.

To humor you, if the scarce amount of stories are true and he does sign, he'll be Kolo's replacement.

Now, please stop with your wishful thinking.

Are you going to answer my question? Do you or do you not think we will sign him? Your suggestion that we would sign a LCB to replace a RCB is odd.

Sorry, thought it was a dig at the infamous apparent Lescott weakness; shits himself on the ball.

Clean slate really, applies to everyone, a chance to show if they can adapt to a new style of play.

I've just seen a few people say he's off, but haven't heard or read anything to support that is all
