But Pellegrini decided to spend around 8 Million on him (Transfer Fees + Wages) to play this role...8 million.

Limited defender, HUGELY prone to mistakes, to put quite simply, not good enough.

Lescott and Nastasic better. Would rather Garcia played there than him.

i thought we'd just bought him as cover in case every defender at the club got the flu or wanted to go on holiday at the same time but alas he was destined for the main centre back role.

Initially i think he was, but then nastasic became an injury mess and never got his form back. Then we failed to land Mangala in the january t'fer window. Still, god knows why he prefers him over Lescott. Apart from the season finale game, Lescott had an awesome yr in 11/12, he hasnt played much in the last 2 years but he hasnt done a great deal wrong. He looks better at the back than Demichelis. I was a bit perplexed as to why we bought him anyways....His last days at Bayern, he was getting ripped apart.
 
Nothing good to say about him at all. Must have some seriously embarrassing pictures of the manager. Do not play him again - a liability.
 
90's porn star fucked up for the pen but he also stopped another goal with a brilliant tackle towards the end of the match.

He's been playing well in games - It counts for nothing if you keep dropping major clangers periodically that swing the result against your team - top defenders don't do that - he's basically a liability .....

Mr Pellegrini please get your head out of MDMs arse - that's two trophies probably gone now due to major clangers from him... What did you do with Hart .... oh thats right you gave him 'a rest; ... time to give MDM the same kind of 'rest' now. Preferably right up to the end of the season then please send him away for good :-) Thank you !!
 
I miss Kompany and Lescott or Kompany and Nastasic at centre back i mean all three have done some stupid shit this season at some point or another but none of them managed to fuck up so many vital games so quickly and so dramatically. Apparently he's there for his experience, well most of his mistakes are barely acceptable from a youth team player. If Boyata plays a game and gives away a penalty, gets booked and poorly marks a striker we'd be pissed off but noone would blame him because he hadn't the time to adjust....demichelis has had almost 2 decades to adjust, he makes the rest of the defence jumpy and he's become an obvious target for strikers to outrun, out position and outwit.

Simply put if you aren't good enough to defend against a championship team in a cup fixture you're not good enough to play for a top premier league team at all. This wasn't Barcelona or Chelsea or even the likes of Tottenham or Everton this was a team way below our level and that is a huge worry.

Although to be fair to him almost everyone playing was fucking useless today for almost all the game until Nasri scored by which point they were like 60-70 minutes late for the game.

Would be better he played on Weds. There's a good chance he'll stay in Manchester and prepare for Hull away where Shane Long will eat him for breakfast

I can see that in his time he was a good player, but he continually goes to ground and attempts tackles that he should not make. These are school boy errors that you would not expect an experienced player to make, and it is really crazy that our manager is still playing him.

he can not start a game again, unless we have an injury crisis.

MCFC are a laughing stock once again, and he is largely responsible for that

Even if with some magic tricks we perform a clean sheet vs Barca and the Kompany-Lescott duo would be immense Demichelis still would walk back into the starting team vs Hull...
 
Has he got some compromising pictures of Manuel and is blackmaiking him I to picking him?.
he's absolutely not suited to the velocity of English football and makes glaring errors again and again, how can a manager be so blind as to not see this. He's not in Argentinas squad who are not blessed with many cbs for a reason. Unbelievable Jeff
