Why dont we try and swap Ashley Young for SWP and a load of cash ? the wheels are comming off at Villa surely all their best players are fair game now ?

Here's what officially happened.

Martin O'Neill didn't want to sell Milner to city. This lead to Roberto Mancini getting annoyed, he always gets what he wants. So basically Mancini used his contacts to give O'Neill an offer he couldnt refuse.... He refused.
This morning O'Neill woke up with a horses head in his bed and a thank you note for selling us Milner, Signed.. R. Mancini.

True story guys!

I have been to a few villa forums and most fans seem indifferent and unconcerned regarding MON's resignation , infact most of them are looking forward to the next manager.Anyone care to explain the reason behind this attitude?

This has the stink of Twitchy all over it. At the end of the day he has accepted for weeks Milner was going to city.

Talk of MON wanting Ireland, Keane and Bentley to replace Milner and improve squad.

Lerner goes to Levy at Spuds asks about Bentley and Keane Levy asks about Ashley young and Abonlahor offers Keane, Bentley, Jenas + Cash.

Lerner tells MON you can have Ireland, Keane, Bentley, Jenas but Abonlahor, Young and Milner are going and there will be no other money to spend. MON walks (as you would)
