Match Day: Aston Villa v. Manchester City FC

The worrying thing is I think managers have watched teams like Blackpool and Wolves press us in midfield trying to keep the game compact. It seems to work well and if you have a little quality you can easily get a result against us. They know we rely on Tevez too much and when he plays deep like this then the chances of us scoring are much less. It seems today that our best chance for a goal is from a set piece and to say that after all the money weve spent is pretty poor.

MC lack creative, visionary playmaker !!!
Tevez is poor, too selfish in that role, he need to play closer to Džeko !

we have David Silva mate, just not his day today.

Barry is not our worst player today and,to be even fairer to him, this system is not helping his and, subsequently, our game.

AJ for Yaya.

Boateng may still be dodgy but that cross of his was a peach and we could have done better from it. Kolarov is our MotM by far, typical that when he finds his game others seem to lose their's. Hopefully a better 2nd half but have felt cynical about this game for days, I knew Villa would have had a gameplan after what we did to them last time. Come on City!
