I think it’s an ok deal.

The general consensus with Chelsea fans is he is very good (despite not having the best end of the season).

Seems to be very technical and press resistant, although sounds like at times he does the hard work and messes up the easy pass.

Although general feeling is time for him to move on and they think he should do well under Pep.

There is a lot to like in terms of should be in his peak, PL proven etc.

I think we want to get this one over the line before the likes of Rice go for silly money.

On the other hand, can't buy a player of his quality for 35m.

Generally, kind of agree with you in part, City could stretch this out and possibly push it down some £5m (kind of like Chelsea did with Sterling). Might not be worth as much as getting it done early maybe, who knows.

I do sometimes find it intriguing that Tixiki can haggle over 5m for months on end for transfers that are supposedly seen as key according to rumours at times, and at others just pay up when some fans consider it overpriced.

Out of the two reported, I'd rather see him pay Liepzig what they want and get Gvardiol in early, and take the time to 'save' on Kovacic.


And yes the usual 'we have just won the treble, they clearly know what they are doing' etc putdowns apply, it is just discussing opinions.

If they sign anyone it be when they have shipped out sold at least 6 players!

Look at the difference with us we not going to sign anyone till we know where we stand with gundo silva Walker and Laporte! We already have a small exhausted squad to boot!

I hope we sort out incomings out before waiting mate and we always hear that we work a window in advance, because of the World Cup txiki was dealing in December etc and as you say the squad needs depth in areas anyway?

Just expect all outgoings incomings to be dragged out all summer then you won’t be disappointed

Happens to all clubs , expect this summer to be quicker though with an early start to next season. No tournaments so most players will finish internationals this week and want to sorted if they can.

Fingers crossed mate as we have the shortest turnaround by far? Poor Rodri is still playing!
