Apart from the obvious baiting with the Ronaldo story,I don't sees what wrong with those headlines. Yes it's sensationalist but they always are and always have been that's what they do to sell papers.

They are actually tame compared to the utter shit I have read recently by James lawton etc which makes my blood boil.


I'd love to know if anyone has kept a dossier since the takeover of all the inaccurate stories and lies told and written about us in the media as well as a list of the good things City have achieved both as a football team and an organisation locally and internationally.

I sure City's media dept have and I'd love it for them to one day to put them all on their website or give it to a high ranking pro City journalist to run with.
 
Caught sky news this morning through the kids screaming and fighting and I'm almost certain Hodgson was asked if Delph and Sterling had jeopardised their England spots by signing for City.

At least I think it was that due to the kids bringing the house down.

Fucking disgraceful if true.

Don't forget the future mainstay of he England side Zinedine Cleverley who was called up to the full England squad on the strength of a 20 minute sub appearance in the Community Shield. Anyone seen any sign of Nick Powell these days? He was another future England star who's disappeared off the face of the earth since joining the rags.

they`ve just asked the same thing about stones going to Chelsea and hodgson said it won`t jeopardised his England career.

In fairness to Woy, he said he thought the Sterling and Delp moves were good for them and playing with better players would improve them for England.
 
Not sure how it will work with new owners but the FT recognises if you try to copy and paste any of its news content then puts a notice up asking you to not do that but to share instead. This happens on the free as well as the subscription articles so maybe the offending paper is belatedly just following existing protocol ?

However, I agree it is that content from many papers that is offensive to City supporters so it should be an easy decision as to whether it is worth advertising it or not.

Not exactly. They were trying to get out of him, if Delph and Sterling were making the right moves.
He was non commital and said he would pick players, irrespective of the club they played for.
But you knew what Sky were getting at. Bastards, the lot of them.
 
They are just poking fun at us blues. Time we stood up to these bullies (not sure how though but I would place some responsibility with he city PR department who should be sacked and replaced immediately)

I love this thread ! Article in the Daily Nazigraph at the moment 'Best young prospects at each premier League Club'. Ours is Denayer apparently (Don't personally disagree with that). There is a picture of each player, guess which one is pictured falling down ?
 
The press are creating a bad guy (Sterling). The darker they paint him, the more headlines and sales to come. All he can do is keep his nose clean and play is very best, whilst some good PR wouldn't go amiss.

Because he has never scored for City???
The picture actually shows him taking the ball past a player with the opponent sliding in, and getting nowhere near the ball.

So if we are to take subliminal messages now from innocuous pictures the message would be 'Denayer is so good the opposition have to foul him to stop him'.
