This was 19 mins into the game, they’d conceded shortly after his arrival in the last game & there had already been a goal disallowed so where the fick was the confidence coming from.

Surprised sky didn't give him motm.
They usually do for players making their 1st appearance for the rag wankers.
I remember them giving it to Maguire after his debut but he played absolutely shite.

It doesn’t take much to impress Dion…..

And that tweet sums up the toxic relationship of the sports media and United, they feel they have to add dollops of hype to every signing they make, which adds further pressure when it all goes wrong

They tend in the most part to ignore most of our signings and to be fair most of every other club, it’s annoying but it can be amusing

So Salah thinks yesterday was a Derby and I heard more than once this was the Dippers and Rags biggest game of the season, just fuck off. They absolutely know which fixture is their biggest of the season and it's not this one that features a tin pot club who have spent over £600m since their Manager arrived and an inconsistent team who have managed to win one title in 34 years.

I sent this to a Rag a few days ago whose response was " by cheating".
Asked for an explanation as to why but no response.
Funny what isn't it.
Just had the same thing with a dipper! Needs to be actively pushed by the club and all over social media !

It's not a tweet - it's an excerpt from the pre-match prattle.

Dublin is pretty unlikely to criticise any player before a match, whoever they play for.

City fans incliding myself spent years calling red scouse cultists and tarquins sad fuckers for bringing up net spend as a thing to be proud of and we ridiculed their net pend trophy bullshit, so not gonna debase myself now wanking over us doing it.

Like Xg I hope our name is never mentioned beside such absolute modern football bullshit, net spend is meaningless
Indeed it is! Good spend depends solely on who yer bought and how good they are! We've bought some 'cheap' guys and they've been fantastic. The Rags spend a shedload on shite!

It's different here though - as it has been actually combined with phenomenal succcess on the field !

The biggest football rivalry right now is City-Madrid. Something I remind the purveyors of this bullshit of every time I hear it.

United average league position in last 11 years = 5th
Liverpool average league position in last 11 years = 4th.

1 asterisked covid title in 33 years v 0 titles in over a decade.

It's 8th v 3rd from last year.

It's a team whose supporters got all English teams banned from European football for 6 years vs the only team to ever have a premier League game postponed due to fan protests.

And it's LIVE!!
also, the only team to ever have a premier league game postponed due to a bomb scare - described by GMP as an ‘elaborate hoax’ (no laughing at the back there) - which conveniently allowed them to play their final game with prior knowledge of what was required.

These 2 clubs contested ‘the biggest game of the season’ yesterday according to the meedya. They have finished 1st and 2nd how many times in the Premier League in the last 20 years, d’ya think? Once.

They’re “the biggest clubs” because they’re always on the telly. They’re always on the telly because they’re “the biggest clubs”.

Never once has Liverpool v City, Everton v united or City v Everton been refered to as a derby
