As a Fleetwood lad will never forgive the bastard scrobs ( Icelanders) for the destruction of our town, and that bastard Heath did f**k all to help us. Must be said our footy team have done pretty well this century.

I really don't get it, it's not going to make united, Liverpool, arsenal fans eat more of their pizza's but they aren't half pissing off a lot of potential customers.

Indeed,they are trying to be like paddy power,all it’s doing is turning certain sections away from using them and end up getting bogus orders as well all very silly..

Can only think the head of their PR department is some cockney red mardarse who has followed them lot all their life but doesn't go, never goes and was the only gobshite in the pub down south on a matchday.
Now operation win everything is a distant memory their only chance of retribution is this bizarre anti city campaign going on.
It is very odd a big food outlet has chosen this path of self destruction.
 
Most mines were uneconomic, loss making, overmanned and under productive.

Like the railways, motor manufacturing and town halls they were infested by militant union left wingers/ communists....Remember Liverpool ??

The Union leaders didn't give a fuck about good men doing their best, they wanted control without accountability.

Workforces & families were sacrificed by Scargill, Robinson etc on the alter of hopeless ideology whilst they lived in comfort at union's expense.

Scargill should've been sent to the tower !!

So instead of keeping jobs in local communities and the money from those jobs being spent in those communities. Even tax collected by her majesty’s revenue. Instead unemployment benefit paid out to people who wanted to work.

Coal pouring in from Poland and Venezuela where kids were used in the mines.

Tell me how economical it is to close down mining communities and paying out on social benefits while importing coal and exporting money to Poland and Venezula for the coal.

I know for a fact pits were made to keep running old unprofitable seams so those pits could be shut because they were making a loss. Some of those pit had machine at the face of new seams that as soon as they were switched on would have put those pits straight into profitability.

It was a political decision not a financial decision of the Tories and that twat Thatcher.

I blame steam power, should have been strangled at birth for all the jobs it cost
