I think its probably only fair to judge Southgate at the end of the tounament. I have a feeling that even if Raheem doesn't start tomorrow (which in no way is a disaster for the lad in a tournament with at least two more important games fast approaching) then he will a. come on as sub and probably make a good impact when panama are tired and b. will play significant time in the remaining bigger fixtures to come.
Southgate doesn't seem to me to be one to bow to media pressure and has been doing his own thing. Might do Raheen the world of good coming on for 20 minutes against a tired poor side and running them ragged.
