when you aren't paid by the wordPithy submissions.
This is the Bluemoon forum.
It’s a results business.when you aren't paid by the word
Mutiny. My understanding is that it is a general media thread rather than exclusively orientated towards City. You could easily turn your argument on its head and say there are hundreds of threads were we can discuss only the Blues. The fallout from Sunday night is a major media item currently so I don't see why it should not feature here.
Bloody crikey !silence, scum
Pith off!Pithy submissions.
It feels like the bbc has decided to complete ignore us this summer. Another day without any City rumours in their gossip page. You’d think given our financial clout, and having won something like 12 of the last 15 domestic trophies available they’d write about the club, but instead they still try to get the rag twats linked with as many players as possible. How many players do the media think the scum can fucking sign?
Unfortunately it’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy, they’re kept relevant so keep getting commercial deals and being in the public eye rather than declining as they haven’t won a trophy for what will be half a decade this season.
City should be a much more marketable team for sponsors and media clicks, given our success on the pitch. Why is it we still don’t get the media/public sycophancy the rags still get despite them being shit?
It's obvious really. Why is it we still don’t get the media/public sycophancy the rags still get despite them being shit?
Seems to be similar on Sky, nearly all the top clubs have headline links to players bar city who morph between having limitless resources but not signing anyone.![]()
Premier League pre-season fixtures: Where's your club playing this summer?
Premier League clubs will play most pre-season fixtures in the UK this summer due to travel restrictions, so where is your side heading?www.bbc.co.uk
Guess who are the club the the BBC accidentally forgot to put in bold in this article? Yep, the same team that are champions but who are mentioned only briefly towards the end. No mention of where city are preseason, just a line about some event at Wembley on 7th August.
Even manages to get the phrase 'big money moves to Manchester City' in to an article on preseason fixtures. Yet Sancho is described in the same article as one of the biggest signings of the summer, not one of the most expensive, the biggest... The editor must be so proud...
Can't help thinking this campaign to get behind the penalty takers has a lot to do with their club sides. Can't imagine city players being treated so lenientlySo will Rashford & Sancho be boo’d up and down the country at every football ground this season?
Or is that just for Sterling?
The media will need a scapegoat - let’s see if Sterling get’s blamed for NOT taking a penalty
I guess this tweet has given him lots of followers. I also assume all transfer speculation on twitter is trying to get clicks :(
But lets see, maybe he's rtight and Grealish is joining and Bernardo is leaving, but I suspect it is clickbait bollocks, makes me wonder why the guys in the transfer thread believe anything. It's the internet of bollocks.
Well said Pete. Bernardo is excellent at keeping the ball just a pity pep doesn't give him a more open attacking role. I fucking hate it when I see players go down at the fucking slightest touch instead of running at or trying to dribble past.Bernardo possible departure and Grealish possibly arriving with his stop, start, falling over and winning free kicks bollocks, would be a backwards step for our team IMHO.
Still no left fullback/wing back of any use.
I hate the transfer windows 8-(
I’d be gutted if Bernardo went.. I know he’s had a couple of up and down seasons but he’s a joy to watch when he’s on itWell said Pete. Me too.I’d be gutted if Bernardo went.. I know he’s had a couple of up and down seasons but he’s a joy to watch when he’s on it
