Why does the BBC web coverage of tonight’s game between the rags and Villa state: Dion Dublin - Former Manchester United striker on BBC One.
Have they conveniently forgot he played 10 times as many games for Villa?
I think Dublin has conveniently forgotten. It’s climbing all those stairs?
the whole commentary is nauseating. I muted after the reference to ‘the gaffer’

Yep. All they have to do is add a clear disclaimer to the results pages saying the scores are not the opinion of the BBC. The problem from my perspective is that they validate them by using the highest score to award a MOTM and then go on to do this "team of the year so far" nonsense where one would expect there to be some representation from the team leading the table by a substantial margin.

the problem with their team of the year is that City would put 5 or 6 past them

I mean he played many more games for Cambridge,Coventry, Villa, Norwich and Leicester than he did for the scum.

Played about as many as he did at the Scum as he did for Celtic.

Might as well be Celtic.

Was watching something recently and Dublin was described as a manchester united legend! Anyhow here is the relevant appearances/goals for all his clubs.

Legend = 2 goals!

The BBC are fast descending to Daily Mail levels of click bait and utter fùcking nonsense. Guess that is what employing ex-united employees gets you at Media City!

Dublin is more of a Homes Under The Hammer Legend than a United Legend.

But he got his cock flattered by the rags in the showers.

He'll always have an hard on for them

What a joke of an article, “Roma had MORE English players in their most recent match than Man City did vs Swindon”

We have a fantastic stream of academy talents coming through, besides the fact we have several first team English internationals. Most of whom were out because of Covid

I know the standard of journalism generally these days is terrible, and I’m not one to cry agenda, but why always us?
