That's a great game actually ....

Some people say Delaney is a screaming bender with no more right to live on God's green Earth than a weasel.

There is a feeling that he must be getting paid to continually criticise City because there can be no other reason for such unashamed bullshittery.

Etc etc ...
It is widely believed that delooney writes for a small online publication because no serious outlet will give him a job.

A great article in the Independent an honest review I would say. long but week worth a read
It's never been any different since the inception of the Football League in 1888.
You play each other team in said league twice (home and away)and the team with the most number of points at the end,are crowned as Champions.
Simples!!!!

Bizarre article even by Delooney's standards. Whilst couched in faint praise, it amounts to "how dare a club seek to achieve excellence, it's not fair". I like all the "some people say.." and "there's a feeling that..." all of which betrays the simple fact that, as a united fan, he's hurting. Long may it continue. Keep 'em coming Miguel, we love it.
Yes, quite bizarre. He's actually a Liverpool fan... did you not get the "Klopp is a god" feeling about it!

Most of the points have already been countered effectively by Ste Tudor's article as BK mentioned above, but several, as you say, are very vague in source and more emotional than factual. It just shows how much he's hurting, and a dipper fan hurting should be a pleasure for all of us. Pure karma!

The difference is that Abu Dhabi's sorcerers put a spell on anyone brazen enough to beat us. Black Magic Club.

Whilst Liverpools dominance might have been in a different financial climate, they still 'somehow' persuaded a very reluctant Shankley to leave Huddersfield and take a step down to Liverpool. They then 'somehow' managed to fund the removal of 20+ players and fund the 20+ that came in to replace them, including making St John the highest paid player in the country. Different times maybe, but still relative.

Because they turn up. Watch city win 95% of the time. Get pissed off and head to twitter to say how its not fair

Banning them would actually be doing them good. Makes no impact to us, they’ll write what they want irrespective of being there or not
Twatting them would be fun though.

It is the usual despicable piece you would expect from the author. It is riddled with mistakes. He describes Khaldoon as the "de facto Prime Minister of UAE" and City as a a "state project." He says the club was bought for "the glory of Abu Dhabi" and for "political aims." He also claims we have "limitless funds" and escaped from Covid unscathed (ignoring our £126m loss last season).
He also repeats the fake claim that we just bought the whole management structure from Barcelona. In fact Sorriano and Soriano had both left Barca before they came to City. Soriano was running a Spanish airline. Every paragraph emphasises the false narrative that Delooney has created in his head.
For the absence of any doubt City are not "state owned" and never have been. Dozens of independent auditors from all over the world and scores of lawyers have poured over our books for ten years and they have never found we are "state owned." Not even UEFA have ever alleged that.
There is no evidence that Sheikh Mansour or the US and Chinese consortiums who own our club are the slightest bit interested in so-called "sportswashing" They have made billions from their investments in MCFC and the City of Manchester so far and have only just got going. In fact there is no such thing as "sportswashing" Most businesses in the Gulf region are on an urgent mission to diversify their incomes away from declining fossil fuels, like oil. No one acccuses Dubai of "tourismwashing." Sheikh Mansour is no different which is why, despite being accused of making "dirty oil money," he is one of the world's biggest investors in renewable energy.
